Pablo, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Each time I watch one of your videos there is always a smile on my face. This time I smiled when you cut your pencil with the saw to make it short enough to use. So practical. One question: What is the type, TPI, and length of the Japanese saw that you use for trimming the ends of the braces? It is the perfect tool for the job.

Another way to fit the back is to let bars extend thru the sides .They must be planed thinner than the bindings but make fitting much easer .

Seems that all glued joints are accomplished with very little pressure, usually just tape. Many builders use LOTS of clamps with quite a bit of pressure applied.

Hi Maestro Pablo, I'm writing to you from Italy, my name is Martino and I have followed your videos with interest and your guitars are beautiful! I have two important questions to ask you: I would like to make a classical guitar and I would like to know by seeing your videos, how many millimeters the Solera must have in the bulge, the camber near the soundhole up to the bridge. While the second is: once the keyboard is pasted here, what criteria should I observe before inserting the keys? when I took the violin making course they had me place a thickness that acted as a nut and another thickness that simulated the bridge and by placing a ruler the height of the bridge between the low E and the soundboard was approximately 10/11mm in your opinion is correct proceed in this way? Thank you

Hello Pablo, what kind of wood are you using for the back-curfed lining. It looks solid, so did you bend it first to fit the curves?
@redkitekk6 жыл бұрын
Hi Peter, yes, it is a solid lining made of cedar and bent in my side bending machine.
@petervanrooij21816 жыл бұрын
But it must be 4 or 5 mm thick, from the look of it. How can you prevent it from breaking?
