It's supplied along with the gimbal but you have to fit it. It has been mentioned it will be fitted to the gimbal in the later V1.1 version.

Great vid. Thanks. I have installed and am using with a futaba T8. I had pitch control for about 10 mins then it stopped. Gimbal works just can't control pitch. Any ideas?

Is it necessary to download any firmware update in order to make this filter work without messing up the factory settings? Or is this just a filter and wouldn't mess with the rest of the system? I just added a gimbal to my f450 conversion from fc40. I am now having some control issues. When I fly it tends to loose altitude and with enough side to side motion it will descend and hard land. I cannot recover the landing almost like it is unresponsive. Just curious is the a symptom of interference and do I need to add one of these boards?

I've just installed a H3-3D on a phantom 2 and one of the plastic pin used to secure the gimbal gets in the way and could potential harm the gimbal. How do you remedy this problem? secure it with zip ties instead? Thanks

this is more for shooting movie shots right cause it cant be good on flight time ?all the power from the gimbal iss pulling from the lipo right then if you have fvp tx hooked up thats pulling from the lipo as well so when its all say and done you end up with just about the ame amount of flight time as the phantom 1 right?

Okay quick question. Is the flighttime of the Phantom 2 + Zenmuse H3-3D + GP3 more of the same(25min) as the RTF vision 2plus? Or does the zenmuse combo decreases its flighttime dramatically? Thanks in advice!

I do not have the long grey cable inside my Phantom 2 Vision to the camera. Its a 3 wire yellow brown red cable. So now what? Also, you skipped the part with the items on the bottom before you did the gimbal?

Great video. I already have a phantom 2 + H3-3D gimbal but would like to get a full FPV set (including the black pearl monitor). I looked on your site but could not figure out how/what all I need. Can you advise and do you carry/sell all the components? Pardon me, but can I ask you about the plastic post in the rear corner of the gimbal? It seems to limit the spin of the actual gimbal, unless I installed it incorrectly and if I can't get plastic washer off post did I snap it upside down?

When the gimbal is powered it doesn't move that far as to hit the drop link.

***** Those pegs are basically just to hold it on, so I don't think it really matters. We were out flying with it yesterday, and it was fine. I think some people leave them in the back so that the gimbal doesn't turn as much, which would get the Phantom legs in the shot.

Every H3-3D I have seen (including the official DJI installation video) takes video out from the GoPro USB port via a crappy thin cable. How did you get a H3-3D with a rear port connector?

I have since discovered the V1.0 used the rear connector, now the V1.1 uses the (rather flimsy) cable to the side USB

It was included with later gimbals. If your not having any issues then you don't need it.

The interference filter is to "eliminate some of the jello" ? Hmmm... I think not. I think you'll find that the filter is supposed to remove interference on the video feed that occurs in certain installations. 'Jello' is a stabilisation/vibration issue and has nothing to do with the FPV electronics.

We are aware it doenst cure the Jellow. The video was crated as soon as it was included with H3-3D gimbals. Dji stated it was to cure some of the issues at that time which jellow was one. The video was made before we tested it and relished it doesn't not cure the the Jellow issue and in some cases doesn't cure the FPV interference either. As the part comes with no instructions at all we thought it would be us full to some to make this video on how to fit it.

Yes it can, you need an adaptor to mount the newer gimbal which includes a longer set of landing gear. You would also need an upgrade board for inside the phantom.

Todos the 3D gimbal but its the V1, there is not a V1.1 which does not have the gopro connector on the back plate. IRS now a robot mounted USB connector mounted on the dice.

So my zenmuse h3 3d did not come with the part of the gimbal that plugs directly into the back of the gopro! I'm assuming I will need this for fpv? What to do?!

Sounds like you have a V1.1. There should be a small connector on a ribbon on the side of the back plate for connecting to the gopro.

This is the new 3dhd zenmuse, made to fit the gopro 4, thats why they have the usb side-port solution on it, the new goprp won't fit the old type of gimbal where you connect on the backside apparently. I asked the dealer when i bough this zenmuse 2 days ago:) The new Gopro is smaller, but have a mini usb like the hero 3, so its perfect for this zenmuse, don't need to bye a new one......

Well it is the 3D alright but i noticed that he mounted the board inside but when he was putting the cover back on the board was not installed anymore :) Sorry but i am very observant unless he showed the installation steps out of sequence .:)

Sounds like something is loose. Check the camera bracket is tight.
