How to Fix a Blank Screen on Yamaha R3

Just a short video on what to do if this happened to you. to get to your battery you will have to remove passenger seat, and driver seat. then you will need a 12v charger to recharge your battery.

Great video I'm having problem too with my r3 first time I was on the road and the everything went crazy on the dashboard after that that happens like 2 more times and today I upgrade my light bulb for ledsand is dead no readings at all I may try to replace the battery and see what happens thanks for your video

Where did you find the bar for your x-grip mount?

Are you sure you didn't have the tender set to 6v? Would've thought that the tender would either work, completely drain the battery or not work at all.

I went to check the tender and this one didn't have a selector switch anywhere around the unit. it could be that it just went bad. but thanks for the suggestion.

Yeah it does say auto voltage detection. I guess if the battery was super low before it was connected it may have gone to 6v. Either way the battery on the R3 seems a bit weak out of the factory so an upgrade wouldn't be a bad thing.

Why is it that your battery can be dead but the bike will still start right up?

if you have a dead battery there is no way that your bike will start.
