Hey I need help with changing digitizer and an issue I am facing, unfortunately the quality of flex cables of digitizers for replacement parts are not as good as the flex cables on the original digitizers, and when fastening them and connecting them you don’t get the clicking noise to make sure the flex cable is connected properly, but the digitizer works but after couple of days the iPad digitizer flex cable comes of the motherboard and so the digitizer stops works, is there any way to sit or fasten the iPad flex cable so it does not come off the motherboard ?

I have run into that before and have found that if you VERY VERY CAREFULLY bend the flex cable connector just a small amount it gives it the resistance it needs to click into the board connector properly and stay. Also many of the aftermarket flex cables do not have the foam on top of the connector which helps sandwich the connector between the retaining plate you screw on and the socket itself. You can add some foam or some other material to the connector to retain it like the original.
