How To Fix a Car Stereo That Has Power But No Sound Is Coming From The Speakers

Here's one for you, I'm stumped, but leaning towards the stereo or amp failing, it's 18 years old. I have 9 speakers in my car from factory. Front and back tweeters, two door speakers, and two on the rear deck and one subwoofer. I lost the rear speakers a while ago, the everything else stayed working. This year, I lost the drivers side door speaker and tweeter, with over the air only coming out of the passenger side door, the tweeters on the pillar and rear and the sub. Aux plays through both door speakers, all the tweeters and the sub, personally, I really don't care, but I like to understand and try to fix things like that.

My speaker is brand new and it’s connected could it just be a short causing it to not play cause it plays from my sub and pass door but dot drivers even put a new head in and wire clamped them together

I got an aftermarket Dual radio I used a couple times and it's at for like a week the fuse is fine but there is still no sound

Same what car do you have my regular radio works then Bluetooth plays for a minute then cuts off

@@techwood262 i have a 2009 chevy malibu, i actually got it looked at and i had to replace my radio and get new speakers in my car and that fixed the problem

Mine has the same problem but it's a 2018 dual and I've done multiple speaker tests and it's not working with any of them

i have a amp and subs in my 2008 mishibishi and my radio works and everything but when i use the radio it works but once the volume hits 20 the sound stops. but wont turn on until i restart my car

All speaker dont work , sometime all of them work but stop sometime . For example drive on speed breaker or drive fast speaker stop . Where could be problem ??

I discovered today that my radio keeps fading in and out while driving down the road. BUT!!! If ignition is off and accessories are on, radio works solid. What could cause that.?
