My Casio Keyboard / Piano (CDP 220) recently broke one of its "G" keys recently and after opening it up,and doing some research, I discovered that I needed a component called a "hammer cap" which acts as a cushion between the key's plastic bottom and the lever which activates the sound. These rubber hammer caps are hard to find and I don't even know where to begin looking. I thought that if I were to bring my keyboard to a service center, it would cost me a lot of time, and money, and not to mention all the hassle and perils of going out in a middle of a pandemic. So I found a fix using duct tape which you'll see in the video. All in all, you it will not cost you more than one 5 dollars to fix this, and only about 2-3 hours of your time.
You will need:
1. Duct tape
2. Super glue (optional for reinforcing duct tape adhesion)
3. Scissors
4. Screwdrivers (for putting apart the pieces)
