This was nice.. do you have to use a torch to get rid of the bubbles or can you also use alcohol spray as well?

You can spray alcohol, but the alcohol will change the texture of your work. The torch wont

What is the reason that you didn't want it to spill over the sides? Is that to avoid streaks?

The table has square edges that couldn't be rounded because the table is also hollow. It would look awful if I tried to let the epoxy roll over the edge

Yes, the tarbender is food safe and so is the sealer I used :)
