sometime hackers send bulk emails from that account as well. May be some rule to send email to admins when bulk emails are sent out from some user email?

What would allow someone to hack into a Microsoft account? Poor password privacy? Someone clicking on a phishing site? Poor Microsoft measures? Shouldn't Microsoft 365 as a service have this pretty much locked down to begin with? They charge enough.

Poor password and clicking authorize on your auth app when you didn't just log in.
