my account has been locked for several months and I can't open it, because of what?, because every time I want to open it the message "try another verification method" keeps popping up, I've followed the instructions given in the help center but still can't open. I've also done what people say, namely clearing cookies on the browser and restarting it but it doesn't work...how can Microsoft solve this?, I'm very disturbed by this and I've even seen people experiencing the same thing. ..please resolve this problem as soon as possible

If when you enter it asks you for a number to unlock your account and it still tells you to try another method, you have to turn off the Wi-Fi and use your mobile data, put incognito mode on Google and log in there, put your number and there Microsoft It will send you the code to unlock it.

Problem is not all phone nos are serviceable by Microsoft. That is true when you say, you currently somewhere in Asia and provided your local phone number. You will end up seeing a prompt message that says "Try another verification method". Yet, the only method available is by phone number. You will get stuck to that verification loop unless you can contact somebody living in the U.S. or any parts of the world that are services by Microsoft

@juvarova I encountered this problem recently when making a new account for MCPE My account got locked and I had to wait a week or 2 and it let me in. I read online on a reddit or quora article that said they flag some new accounts that look suspicious and lock it for 10-15 days. Im able to access my account now so I would just stop trying to to get into the account for 2 weeks then try. Hope this helps
