How to Fix a Knocking Square Taper Bottom Bracket in Less Than 4 Minutes!

Is your vintage square taper bottom bracket loose and/or knocking? You can probably fix it in just a few minutes without having to remove the cranks!

interesting fix - kudos for that. I think, however, that a crank puller tool, is way more common for the home bike mechanic than a pin spanner + hook spanner ;). Granted, removing those cranks can be a piece of work, so will try next time!

All you've done is show how to adjust the play in a BB. People take it all apart so they can clean and regrease it. You've not mentioned that!
