How to Fix a Salt Bridge

That exact broom handle is a bad idea . I was able to twist back and forth to penetrate the bridge in multiple spots but found black plastic shards peppered through my salt . Thinking it will clog small Venturi screens , I am removing all old salt(shop vac works unbelievable). And starting fresh . Maybe wood broom handle or baseball bat ? Thank u for video just an FYI TO save people extra steps or future problems [ (
