I grew up in WV. Now live in MD and I work with a guy that's in his late 50s that didn't know how to operate a hammer. Not kidding, could not drive a nail. I sometimes forget not everyone was blessed with good people in their lives to show them how to do things like this. Good on you!

You mentioned that you got a mediumweight door closer, I bought a lightweight one, I'll change it and see if the door stops slamming, I used the screw adjuster and it still slams, off to the store again. Thanks for the video!

I live up north where I have a screen in warm months, glass in winter months. Should I be setting them differently each season I change screen to glass? Thank you for pointing out the setting for screen and for glass. I did not know before.

That’s a good question. I think it’s mostly your preference if you want to go to the trouble to change but I don’t think it’s necessary

I did this and it did not fix the problem. The door still slams to about 1 foot from door before the pneumatic door closet kicks in.
