Mine was made in 8/1981. This was a great video to help me get my stove back to working condition. I have the original box it came in so I'm so looking forward to going camping with it again.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I haven't used my stove for about 20 years or so. So I want to clean it up and have it on standby. Sending greetings from Kyoto-Japan. I probably bought it in 1997-98?

I just picked one of these larger Colemans stoves. The 413H is the older version of the modern Powerhouse Duel fuel, I needed it (the 413H) for the fact that I can use a 12 inch pot and a 10 inch at the same time and it's great for putting their oven on top, lots of room. The output on these 22 inchers will blow the lid off the other smaller 17 inch models. As far as using low grade gasoline on your stove..I could not agree more. I've used it on ALL my gas stoves for decades, never an issue. Little maintenance once in a blue moon and that's it. Thanks for sharing this video.

I have the duel fuel tank, and it seems to sputter the mist alternatively then it seems ok when I pump it. Took generator out but couldn't remove the spring. The needle looks really clean and the burners and tanks all look good. So since I never had one of the heaters I'm not sure. When it burns it looks pretty good also. Don't want to mess with it if it ain't broken

Just found one of these in my father-in-law's garage rafters. It probably hasn't been used in over 35 years and still had fuel in the tank. It fired right up with the old fuel and runs great. The shade of green looks different (darker green)than other Coleman stoves I have. I'm wondering if there were different colors available back then.

I have a 1978 3 burner Coleman, I’ve decided to restore it. What is the best way to remove the burner assembly? I will need to remove one of the valves on one side to get it out of the stove to paint. And then replace it - thanks for sharing you cleaning and restoration videos, they are great!
@theed365
@theed365 Жыл бұрын
3 nuts through the holes on the bottom of the stove and 1 screw by the carburetor assembly. You shouldn't have to remove a valve. Once you get it loose the valve handles should fit through the slots they're coming through.

Hey man, thanks for the info. I've used this stove for years. It's tough, dependable and easy to use. While cleaning mine, I noticed that even though I have released all the pressure in the fuel tank, I am not able to prime it. The plunger, with the intake hole covered, does not allow me to pump pressure back in. It feels like it is full. So before I completely break it down. I was hoping that you might have a quick fix for this. Thanks

Hello. I'm cleaning up an old 424 Dual Fuel Coleman stove. I took apart the burner assemblies and forgot which side they belong to. One has a large washer at the bottom where it mates with the manifold. It has hole approximately 1" diameter. Can you tell me which side that burner belongs on? Thanks in advance.

I would take apart the control valve and inspect it. Sounds like it's not fully seating when you turn it off. It's normal to simmer for a minute or so but not a half hour. These stoves are extremely simple to work on.
