this is cool and all, but the problem is that the stereo option doesn't exist, and when i turn on the no tele option then it no longer shows up in my system sound options, I do not know why. my computer is fairly new and im am extremely confused

My issue is volume. My YT volume is at 100%, and my system sound has to be at least 80% to be able to hear anything. It’s way too quiet. Obviously they work great with my Mac, iPad, and iPhone, but Windows just doesn’t play nice with them.

Sadly nothing can fix the Bluetooth latency which cripples these for use on PC. I tested them with Halo and there's what feels like an entire second between firing a gun and hearing the shot. People lips in youtube videos don't appear in sync either but not quite as bad.

Exactly, and id assume the reason behind videos having less delay than games is because the game audio is cannot be predetermined and synced with the image unlike a yt video.

windows 11 is natively compatible with the bluetooth codec for the airpods, so they sound far better in headset mode

Does disabling the Handsfree Telephony service still grant the user the ability to use the AirPods microphone? I am unable to use the mic with Teams, WebEx, etc. After doing this. The option for the AirPods microphone does not even populate as an input device for these applications (only as an output device). That being said, the audio coming from the computer is much better. I just need a way to utilize the mic.

There is not enough Bluetooth bandwidth for both the microphone and the headset to work properly on windows. The solution in the video makes the Airpods function only as an output device, not an input device.

Is there a way to reverse this? I want to be able to use my Airpods Pro microphone again, but when I try to reenable Handsfree Telephony, I get an error that says, "The parameter is incorrect." I've tried removing the AirPods from the Bluetooth list and reconnecting them, but Handsfree Telephony is still disabled and I cannot enable it.

My solution to fix this issue after windows support was trying to factory reset my pc because they couldn’t figure out the issue, was to go into device manager and uninstall all of my Bluetooth drivers.
