How to Fix All Network Sharing Issues-Computer not showing in Network

After all these settings and still not working, I search for more, I finally found that you MUST have "SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support" enable all 3 ticks. You find this in Control Panel / Programs and Featured / Turn Windows Features on or off / SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support. Now its perfect.

I did this too, still doesn't work. It works fine after the boot, half an hour later it suddenly disconnects and can't access again til the next restart.

I am facing below at one of my client site. Scenario:- In network I am unable to see some of the computers and able to see some computers. But at the same time, the pc which I am unable to see in network I am able to access via creating shortcut. And able to ping that pc using ip but unable to ping using computer name.

For Windows 7 and Windows 10, I do the same steps, but I noticed a good increase in the steps, because Windows 10 and Windows 7 cause problems. Thank you very much.

This solved my problem. One PC was showing in another but another not showing in the first PC. I changed services in the PC which was not showing in another and it worked. Big thanks.

Thats was very good. I do not know why it is so hard to do. I am having problems when it asks for Windows Credetnials I also found that sometimes you need to reser your router and your network switch for some settings to take effect

Thank you, I have 3 PCs, sometimes they see all, some don't see others, This PC only saw itself, i stopped and started those services and all there now. I must add that the services were running but in manual mode. in the windows 95 and xp days networking was quite simple, with windows 10 they have complicated it with so many buttons and settings that override one another.

Guys. So I figured this out after a shit ton of issues. I would share a folder, "Advanced Sharing" and everything, set "Everyone" to full access right? And on the other end it would always say you "Couldn't access share - permissions blah blah blah" You have to then go in to the folder's properties, under the "Security" tab. And CREATE an "Everyone" permission among the "Local admins / administrator/ etc" This is what worked for me.
