Banking emerged during the Renaissance and of the 9 wealthiest banking families (excluding royals/nobility) only 2 were Jewish. The Barings, Fuggers and Medicis (and others) were not. If we look at the wealthiest American families: Astor, Carnegie, Mellon, Ford, Getty, Hughes, Vanderbilt, Rockefeller - none of them Jewish. In modern times, Buffet, Gates, Koch, Walton have enormous wealth and power but are not Jewish, nor are the current top 5 richest men in the world. There are sh*t loads of money and power in Arab nations, in Asia and China, and in South America, almost none of it held by Jewish families. Reinstate the FCC’s Fairness Doctrine for all broadcasters. 8. Allow no exceptions or protections from laws for any elected official that applies to others. 9. Bipartisans commissions are horrific. Let's use the shortest splitline method. Instead of Ranked Choice Voting, use Proportional Representation
@yoavmor90025 жыл бұрын
@@obiwankenobi4252 Proportional representation is awful because it can cause entire states (like Wyoming) to have no representative. There are only about 300 representatives per party, and there are are only 500 000 people in Wyoming, and only 300 000 000 people in the United States, or only 150 000 000 people per major party. Wyomin has a only 1 out 300 people per party, and that's assuming all of Wyoming votes one party. 1/300 over 300 gives a straight probability of 1, which means it is very likely to not have a representative every so often. District voting guarantees that the representative who represents a district actually come from the district, and have any credibility and legitimacy to represent them. Wyoming Republicans are very different than Pennsylvania Republicans, and therefore are less able to Wyoming Republicans faithfully. You can get away with list voting in small states, like Slovenia or Israel, but it becomes illegitimate in large states.

@@calysagora3615 Abolishing government would only create a pet vacuum that would be immediately filed by the richest/strongest, but now with no checks on power or motivation to even pretend to work in the interests of the common people. I get what you're saying (I used to consider myself a "minarchist" libertarian), but eventually I realized that, when done correctly, government isn't a force that works in opposition to the people - it's the instrument by which the people consolidate their power to act for the common good and protect themselves against oppression and totalitarianism. The issue is that all of the candidates who have run in the past, who actually wanted to end this, didn't get enough of a foothold in the political world. They weren't even given to the people as an option to vote for. Also, most people don't realize that this is an issue. It's not like it's being taught in the school system. People are blissfully and shockingly unaware of how everything in government works

No it wouldn't. The 24 news networks are all corporate owned. Corporations who have shamelessly dumped cash on our representatives themselves. The media wont say a word about this bill until it's too big to ignore and then when they do speak of it it will be criticism. Want proof? Did you hear that the senate made a push to redo the tax code? Which would clean out all the lobbied in tax breaks and loop holes that have been inserted over the decades. They were even offered 50 years of identity protection so that corporations couldn't take revenge against anyone who voted for the bill. Never heard of that whole push? Because the only 24 news stations to cover it AT ALL were MSNBC and Fox News. Fox brought it up one single time for about 2 minutes and MSNBC brought it up one single time for... about thirty seconds!

Great video. But a massive question here. How can we unite all anti-corruption movements? Recently we have the Democracy Spring, the Brand New Congress, and of course Cenk's Wolf-Pac to name a few. How do you coordinate with other movements to reach the same goal?
@jeffreylebowski68978 жыл бұрын
+Shny Fan We have to focus on one issue that is very important to EVERYONE no matter the other beliefs they have. From Black Lives Matter to organizations that want to legalize drugs to 9/11 truthers to those who think the war in Iraq was the greatest thing we ever did... we are ALL against corruption. Unfortunately, people can't think long term. The plan that was explained in this video would work, but it would take decades at best to reach the federal level. People want swift solutions which ultimately lead to even more destabilization and deception.
@liesdamnlies33728 жыл бұрын
+Jeffrey Lebowski This is a long-term plan, yes, but it's more than doable, because they're concentrating on taking small steps toward achieving it, and each step (like passing an anti-corruption act in a city, or a state), is a real victory with positive effects that everyone would be able to see. We just need the persistence to keep doing it.

You can't have crony capitalism if you don't give bureaucrats the power to award favors in the form of tax and regulatory breaks to their favorite people and corporations. Making government bigger and more powerful only increases crony-capitalism. The only government that is responsive to the people is the government closest to the people.

Conservatives have a tendency to capitulate power to extremists, some shiny golden superheroe / fascist's in hard times when the state becomes corrupt and unresponsive. People become dissolutioned, alienated and disenfranchised. We all do but unfortunately instead of addressing the tyranny, mass consolidation overreach and abuse of power. Exploitation, injustice erosion of Rights etc Shoring up a truly free sovereign constitutional Democratic Republic of by and for the people with progressive policy and anti-corruption measures to shore up a clean establishment - elections, representation, parties, justice system, press, FDA etc Our basic fundamental Rights It all goes out the window once their radical superhero who promises to resolve everything/ extremists are in power. Essentially kicking the ladder away they ascended to keep it indefinitely. Ultimately that situation turns into a dictatorship. Far right populism is a gross farce that never serves the people and always ends in disaster. 💀 We see Republicans flirting with the idea of ending the democratic process openly more and more these days. Trump just spoke to shredding the constitution FFS. Not all conservatives of course but sadly a good chunk of their base. The wealthy elite class have a tendency to think they can play ball with these extremists and control them rather than giving into progressive policy, giving up any power. They absolutely don't want to be held accountable and stop their ability to exploit with impunity. These multinational corporations, big banks, foreign, religious and private dark money interests have a loooong, long history of manipulating and siding with far right extremists to do their dirty work. Just looking at all the black ops coups they've been engaged in over the decades 💀 The failed business plot coup Smedly Butler blew the whistle on for instance. They've been hard at hijacking our establishment since we won our war of independence against the tyrannical crony theocratic Christian monarchy and the East India company. These dark money interests and extremists will never stop their assault. Like Aldous Huxley stated - The price of freedom is eternal vigilance. There's a lot of blind so called liberal establishment supporters who go along with it at everyone's peril. Turning a blind eye to the corruption settling for the lesser of two evils over and over again which fuel's the ratchet effect into fascism. Screwing over progressives constitutionalists. Something Malcolm X spoke to frequently. We're fighting this shit on all sides and we have to come at this intelligently. If we come at it like a big reactionary unorganized violent mob that's completely divided it'd be over before it even began. We gotta reign in the dark money corruption and extremism. Insure a clean establishment, our ability to impact hard policy. Some transparency & oversight. That we can finally hold those in positions of power and authority accountable. Restore critical trust. 🗝️ Balance ⚖️ An empowered citizenry Then we can get back to left right agenda. History is not on rails and we cannot afford to continue repeating the worst mistakes of the past. We can stop this slide before it goes off the rails. It's far and away beyond left right party politics, rigged elections, some senator congressman or president. These are incredibly dangerous insane time's. A lot of people think what happened in Europe can't happen here but they'd be wrong. Amendments like this are critical to a movement. It gives the whole thing clearity from beginning to end. I don't put my faith in the establishment much these Days 💀 I put it squarely on all of us, we the people. To stand united when it matters most. To do what we should have done a long time ago. Viva the nonpartisan anti-corruption movement #RepresentUS represent.us/our-wins/ Without a clean establishment and our basic fundamental Rights we all have absolutely nothing. Keep that head up Keep fighting for the changes you wish to see.

I'm all for this, and I understand that most people visiting the site won't want to look at the legalese, but where can I find those strict guidelines written by constitutional scholars?

Its a great start but the way that I see it is that at the end of the day, if our social systems work on a financial platform thats owned, there will always be an agenda being executed. So arguably, an underlying philosophical problem of this is that the means of human exchange has been filtered to materialist gain and loss. Which in my opinion is simply only part of the reality. There is so much science that exemplifies our social nature as humans, implicating that the ways in which we interact and effect each other are much more than transactions and pleasure.

No, lobbying isnt always nessicarily bad. Anyone can lobby and there are unpaid volenteer lobbyists who lobby for good causes and dont give politicans gifts or money or job offers to try to like bribe them. The problem is when politicians or gov workers do things just cuz they r like bribed to or do what whoever pays them the most wants, acting like puppets for big banks and big bussiness.
