This was by far the easiest tutorial. I never understood wat i was doing wrong after twisting them together. Another video didn't explain that it wouldn't work just by twisting alone. And they didnt explain why not. They jus said to solder it, n didnt even teach us how to solder it or y? So burning ot was waaaaaay faster n easier, then i just lightly melted a lil duck tape on it. Sivadath I have a problem with my earbuds there's two of them one has a jack cut off and the other has a jack from one of my old earbuds with one side making a cracking nosie the other side completely out I cut jack the wires had red and green with copper on both sides Same with the other earbuds with no jack wires red and green with copper on both sides I twist the red and copper together and the green copper together and connect both wires together and do I light it up with fire

Ok heres what worked for me: I had to connect a blue, red, gold, green wire to a 2 gold, red, blue wire. I connected red with red, gold with gold, blue with blue and added green to the blue wires. Only problem was with all wires i connected is that each time i'd move them they'd stop working or the sound would get worse so i didn't even be able to put electric tape on them.. "Rage quit" :p

There should be another wire for the mic, so as long as you connect the correct wires it should work.

if not working. take up a lighter and burn the wire at 1.5 or 2 sec. it will remove the plastic cover on wire ...
