Yes, me too. I have a catch can and blocked off my EGR when I had the dyno run done but it had 60,000km on it at that stage so I bet it’s pretty gummed up. Thanks for watching mate😎👍

The shirt Matthew is wearing must have a few years on it - I remember getting engines from Mick and Livio in the 70s and 80s before they sold and it moved up the road in Stone St. and closed a few years later.

Thanks for the vid Captain Jafffa - Terry but I have to say the more I see the issues with Diesel engines v petrol engines, EGR blocking up, water in fuel (from on the track etc), the need for after market catch cans, which should come as standard fitment (yep I have a bit of oil in my petrol induction but not a major issue) , timing belts/chains, injectors, water in diesel fuel, injector issues, glow plugs, AD Blue in newer models, alpine diesel for higher altitude/colder ambient, intercooler issues, oiling up of everything internal, Diesel engines stuffing up engine oil....... I have to say petrol engines seem a better idea except for the availability of fuel in remote areas. yep, protect the electrics for ignition (which still needs to be done for engine electrics in a diesels). Anyways my 2 pennies worth. Cheers Gaz. Love what you present

The solution is... buy a Toyota not a Nissan. (Typed while sitting in my Nissan while it's intercooler is off and engine is caked in oil)

Great video . I've tried 4 different local mechanics ( UK ) to fix the injector oil leak on my Movano 3.0l ZD3 200/202 and nobody wants to touch it .Too difficult to get those parts apparently ? They only want the easy stuff or they don't have the grey matter . . .

I don't give a fk if I've gotta get them Neptune ! this is now a matter of pride just so I can pull up at the those lazy swines garages and tell those money grabbers I did it myself !

Thanks mate, I just bought a 2013 DX ute & have an incredible oil leak from above the starter motor. I suspect this is the issue & have just ordered the parts. Cheers for such a great video. I'll be watching for more ZD30 videos.... Sorry, I think Toyotas are over rated hahaha

Should also replace the copper washers and O rings on injectors while you have it apart.. Push the seals out while you have cover off.👍👍👍

That intake manifold is bound to be sooted to hell! Just did all this to my ZD30Di, EGR intake to manifold didn't look that sooted up yet it was filthy inside the manifold when I removed it.

Yep, makes a massive difference and you should also find your EGT’s dropped lower as well. Cheers

I have a gu patrol zd30,is it psible sir that the engine oil can entr to fuel tank?what is the psble culprit for that cause my fuel turns black.

No Charlie, oil cannot get into the fuel system, if your diesel is turning black I would suggest you might have a mould contamination issue. I run Fuel Dr in my vehicle every tank full and it kills any biological contamination. I would give that a crack. Cheers😎👍
