How to Fix and Clean Cat Flower Fountain|Water Pump not working

Cat water fountain. I found a video how to repair the cat water fountain pump not working. Its been 7 months now since we bought the Cat Water Fountain and suddenly stop working the pump. Luckily i found some repair video and seems like i made a mistake i didn't know that i can remove the pump blade and clean it. Today i fixed it and my cats are happy of the fountain looks new for their eyes. Im sorry for my hands i have burned finger and my left hand got cut so i need to wear a glove.How i fixed the broken pump? And why it's not working! Thanks for the video repair, now my kittens and my cats are all happy now.

Thank you for saving me about $30. Just noticed mine stopped working, was worried the motor burned out from running without water for too long. Cleaned off the rubbery part on the fan axle and it's good as new.

Mine is flashing red and I've tried everything I can think of, including the steps in this video, and it will not stop. Is the pump damaged, or am I missing a step? Is there a reset switch?

@@lesliecrabbs8190 I live in Cambodia, so I have to improvise a lot when things like this present themselves. In this case I bought a fish-tank pump and jury-rigged it to the upflow tube, which ... *kinda* works.

Thank you! This morning when I was going to top off the water the motor stopped working. I cleaned it as usual but still, it wasn't working. I came here and typed in how to repair and didn't know the fan could be popped out to clean! That did the trick.

My pump is a different model, grey and round, I was sceptical but was happily suppriced to find the same things inside and with a little q-tip action aka washing it, it was up and running again. Thank you!

Cleaning the pump didn't fix the issue and it still blinks red when turned on in water. Is the whole pump dead or is there a way to revive it somehow?

Oh my gosh!! This actually worked. Can’t believe it. Just washed the cat fountain and went to reassemble it and the pump wouldn’t work. It was working an hour ago so I looked on KZbin and found this video. Had no idea the pump came apart and could be cleaned. Just saved me from ordering a new pump. Thanks for posting!!

I just got this fountain and didn't have a clue how to clean the pump plus I was lost trying to figure out which way to put the pump against the black filter or facing away ! Unfortunately your fountain didn't seem to have that bit in it so I guessed ... my cat seems delighted to have it although the first few says she went a bit mad drinking water. 😳 I did not think this was going to fix the pump. It did!!! I thought I had burned up the motor when it ran out of water. Replacement part was only $5 and change, but the shipping cost was double that. This fix was FREE and pretty easy. Thanks so much!

But occasionally bite cheese, pizza, chocolates, ohhhhh, itchy itches always my arm bleeding during night cause scratching without notice. Haha, hope you take care too, we seems having similar issue.
