This kit is not designed to fit Brother MFC Inkvestment tank printers. There is no fitting that makes a seal on the ink intake nipple. Look at the manucfactures info. If you press on the tip with that 90 degree elbow which is not even meant for that anyway. Ink will will come out all over the place in your cartridge compartment. Thats why you dont see that part on camera. You will pull out some residual ink but it will be a mess not enough anyway to clean a clogged pigmented ink line.. I'm sure he means well but that's I don't see too many people saying TY this actually worked. Maybe good for likes on his video? To clean this type of printer, you need reffilables filled with a better solution than this, and run a few cleaning purge cycles maybe 5 or 6 by using the maintanance menu, not the regular nozzle cleaning, maintanance menu would be more powerful. Save your money this method will be a total mess, look up: maintance purge when unable to print or clean, on Brothers website or here.

you have to hold the stop/exit button when you clean in order to get the MFC to move cartridge to center

I've replaced the ink. Black is great. Colours in the test boxes are not. Tried the cleaning button several times. Still missing in the cleaning pattern. Is it worth cleaning the print head? I can't fathom what is wrong with it. (Printer is gift from fam. Used. So I'm trying all to get it going. Ink costs alot!!)

I have the same exact printer, I have tried this kit and none of the adapters fit. With that 90 degree adapter, the ink/cleaning solution just squirts out(toward you).

I bought this kit. I have the same ink cartridge system on my rothers printer. None of these nozzles tips fit printer printhead. I tried just the clear tip like you show in your video but I do not understand how you connected it.

It's a pain. It helps to have two people and turn the printer on it's back. You have to press in the smaller nasal and hold it in with one finger.

The best way to repair a Brother printer is to throw the POS in the trash. Their customer support sucks as much as their printers.
