Oh man, it just like the flashback about that time when I broke the shoulder joint of my McFarlane Reiver. Basically, after the dissassemble and priming the joint stuck and I bend the plastic of it. Use the same method as you, but using the 0,6 nails to reattach the balljoint. Honestly, I just hate the shoulder joints of Joy Toy marines. The pins is too thin, too brittle. One more thing - you can use the ball joints from Wave for the repairs, to be precisely, BJ-05 ones, they sell it on sprues. Check out the AC Studio video about - the guy had the same issue with the Bladeguard. But still - now I know how exactly new 2.0 shoulder joints looks like on the inside and you've done a pretty good job with the materials at hand. Now you are a honorary apothecary!

LOL I think that I would be an apothecary in training because the results of the surgery was not 100%. That being said thanks for letting me know about the BJ-05 ball joints. In the event that any more 1.0 shoulders fail, I'll be using that method instead. AC seems like a full fledged apothecary to me. I never realized until the arm broke off that the 1.0 figure shoulder to arm joint was complete crap. I would expect better quality than what we are given especially at the price point we are paying for these figures.

@@SpruesNStuds My first figure was the Incursor and the first thing that I've done to him is dissasemble. I really like the plastic of the figures itself, but the plastic of the joints is utter crap. I really hoped that in 2.0 Joy Toy create a totally different shoulder joints, but no, they've just added a half-butterfly joint. And the shoulders is the weakest connection in all of the joints. This shit transforms me into a Khornate berserker instantly. With that price they at least could improve the painting. And to be honest, I really dislike the new shoulderpads fastening and small waist in the 2.0 bodies. I think Im going to get some McFarlane marines and repaint them. In terms of plastic they're amost indestructible. Before breaking, the plastic in the shoulder joint of my Reaver withstand THREE full 180 degree rotations before I noticed that something is totally wrong - and that was the bending of the plastic itself. I understand that some of the techical decisions that was made for the intricate insides of the Joy Toy figures was made specially for a huge range of motions, but to be honest, they're not that far away from McFarlane, that still uses classic balljoints and hinges. I hope that your little battle-brothers will not have problems like that in the future. Suffer not the breaking! Abhor the cheap construction decisions! P.S. Got myself an Eradicator, brother Branis Ventan. Sick. Really cool looking with my Incursor together. Imposing and huge.

We can agree on a quite a few things here and I am sure that the rest of the community would agree. 1. Painting on JT figures are meh for the price we are paying. 2. Joints...my god these things are utter cold garbage. It does blow my mind that the arm to shoulder joint is the highest traffic area that they would incorporate such a weak link there. You are correct in that McF joints are sturdy and I have yet to have one of them break on me. Go figure on a cheaper figure that there is better quality on the joints...again blows my mind. If only we were able to get some sort of blend b/w JT and McF we would actually get a decent quality figure. Eradicators are awesome. I love that they are toting around metas. Enjoy!

@@SpruesNStuds Thanks! But still, at least we can enjoy Joy Toy on shelves and repair them if something is wrong. Maybe in the future we got more decent figures. Oh, the Guilliman. I need to start saving money.

I’ve only got 2 of these characters but when changing the heads I wondered how close I was to breaking them. Even heating them up is a little nerve racking. Think those heads will just have to stay where they are. Thanks for the repair vid!

No problem! I love making these videos more than my review videos because they are original and hands on. With regards to changing out the heads, it is no problem at all. All you need to do is "pop the top" and all heads are interchangeable with each other.

Also, you can heat up a tiny screw driver to red hot. Stick into chest side of shoulder ball joint. Keep it in there till it cools, after screwdriver cools you can just pull the broken piece out of the ball joint. I hope what i said is understandable. If not contact me

Next time, take a lighter, heat up paper clip piece, slide hot metal rod into prefilled super glue gel hole. Same way you did it, but heat that paper clip hot and the plastic will adhere to it like brand new. Been using this trick for like 30 yrs on action figure breaks

I haven't had the issue but I would probably would drill a small enough hole and use a slightly bigger screw so it can have some/make its own tooth before gluing after its cured just cut off rest of the screw

Hey I’ve been trying to find a video on how to fix my Black Legion Havoc with Heavy Bolter. The left thigh piece was to small to fit the joint so I was able to get a replacement thigh and I thought they where gonna sent the whole log but only sent the thigh piece and I need to know how to take off the shin from the old thigh piece and to put it on the new piece. Any help will be awesome and no need to rush. 🤘😁🖤

Brother Reagan, yes, this is a 1.0 figure. I am also very glad that they decided to change the configuration for the action figure. The other members of the community did suggest some cool fixes so I will definitely try their method (although I hope that I don't have to because I don't like when my figures break).

Good work! I was suffering all the way jejeje. A question: at 3:20, that interior piece, i guess that you could rotate it to put it out, unscrew it all. Think that JT must screw it in place when building. Well, the final result is good, so again good work. Nice video, keep it up!!
