Hey thanks for yet another shoutout! I'm so glad the mod worked out for you! To anyone looking to modify their Artakha (Or build their own), the original instructions have been updated to include the fix! I've also updated his ankles to be EVEN BETTER than the design in this video! Here's the link: www.patreon.com/posts/artakha-stud-io-42747550

Being in Connor's server and interacting with him has shown he's a really cool dude. I'm glad that you covered this

He really is! I’m a big fan of his and love his MOCs, which is why I keep on covering them in the channel!

Very good improvement, the arms are next🙂

Let’s hope! All thanks to WCP!

@@DuckBricks yup, i was thinking about having WCP revamping all canon models just like he did with Arthaka, Karzahni and Krakua so you could review them on what could had been done if the current pieces that we have had existed during the early Bionicle days, specially when the Dark Hunter contests were a thing between 2004/2005. Khingk might be the best Vakama (Mask Maker) but WCP is the best Arthaka (Fixer & Creator)

@@ToaFierek2 Eheheh that would be quite a lot of work! (For both of us!)
@ToaArcan3 жыл бұрын
Artakha was already one of the best canonised MOCs ever, and now he's effectively perfect.
@DuckBricks3 жыл бұрын
Agreed! So happy WCP went back and improved it

I'm glad this modification exists. I love the way the artakha model looks, so It's good that he has better possibility and stability now. In my eyes, he is near perfect!

Agreed!!

Great improvement! I really like the idea of double ball-joints in the knees-something that perfectly works for large models. The KingK's mask fits so much better tho. There is one thing that makes me wonder: almost all official titan sets have a ranged weapon, so what kind of launchers would Artakha and Kharzhani use?
@DuckBricks3 жыл бұрын
Good question; now I’m thinking the same thing haha
@Bionickpunk Жыл бұрын
Artakha would have a 6 barrel stud shooter integrated in his hammer, the same as Ekimu in G2 (fitting cause both use Masks of Creation).
@Luka11803 жыл бұрын
Perfection.

maybe ccbs friction joints can make the arms strong enough for the staff
@DuckBricks3 жыл бұрын
That’s a good idea!
@Stroivan3 жыл бұрын
I mean you can fix it however you can, since only the drawing is canon., not the moc.
@CraftMotion3 жыл бұрын
How did you get the right colors onto the 3D-printed Kanohi? Sure, with the gold you could just use any gold as no other gold is present in the MOC but how did you get that pearl dark gray color for the KhingK version of the Mask of Creation?
@DuckBricks3 жыл бұрын
I got super lucky and purchased the closest result I could find for Gold PLA on Amazon and it turned out to be a really good match!
@CraftMotion3 жыл бұрын
@@DuckBricks What color did you buy? I already have Chrome Gold but I guess that's a little too shiny for Lego =D And also it's a spray can.
@DuckBricks3 жыл бұрын
I didn’t use spray paint at all and just printed straight from the PLA - I think the exact brand was 3D Solutech? And the colors were literally gunmetal Gray and gold, I think
@CraftMotion3 жыл бұрын
@@DuckBricks Oh i get it, they are 3D Printer material, not colors. I'm afraid I do not have any access to a 3D Printer, I'll buy the masks already printed from Shapeways.

Ahh yes sorry that wasn’t clear!

I have question, do you build mocs, and do you have a selfmoc?
@DuckBricks3 жыл бұрын
I do build MOCs on occasion, but mostly just to revamp sets or revamp canon models in CCBS, like the Tahtorak I showed in that review
@Luka11802 жыл бұрын
are the arms still too weak to hold up the hammer?
@raulvidal23433 жыл бұрын
Hi. Could you review the Pit Brutaka? You know, the fake unreleased set that has become ever since the fanon depiction of how Mutated Brutaka should look like. I posted the instructions on flickr flickr.com/photos/192388931@N05/sets/72157718571899963/ trying to replicate the moc as best I could.

I enjoyed the video but I don't like "canonization" of fan models after the story is long over and no longer expanding

Technically none of the Lego Models from the new contests are canon. Only the artwork is. The models are just built to inspire the canon artwork!
