None of the Dell recommendations worked online for an Inspiron 15 3511 including BIOS recovery from hard drive or USB, it kept saying it was recovering / updating then stuck in the same loop. The most important step missing if none of these work is to power on, wait for Dell logo to appear and then press and hold the power button down for at least 35 seconds until you see the power light flash 3 times which seems to reset and clear the issue. Next time it should boot up normally. If not, repeat the last step, download the latest BIOS to a USB Fat32 drive, switch on, keep tapping F12 then update the BIOS from the USB drive.

What's disturbing is that these computer manufacturers are selling this junk at a very high price. We can't really chose which one to buy that last long. All brands are the same. All newer laptops are bugged. It is so hussle to go to a technician and have it repaired. Worse if it really can be repaired and it is very costly. All methods did not work on my laptop and it pisses me off bcoz i been using it for a year and it's still not that old.

You're right, laptops these days are often poorly made and overpriced. Here are a few things you can do: - Check the warranty on your laptop. - Consider buying a laptop with a reputation for durability. - Try getting it repaired at an independent repair shop (it might be cheaper). - Upgrade components if possible.

Anyone can help with this? My laptop is Dell G3 15 windows 10 .. when i press power button the BIOS screen [the black screen that is supposed to have the word Dell in the middle] is all black with white parts on the edges of the screen, and it keeps like that for few seconds and the windows log in normally, the screen is all good, all videos and game work properly. I cannot do anything in the BIOS system, i cannot install a new windows cuz i cannot see what is in the BIOS screen.

Hey Nrop please follow the step: Force BIOS Setup: When the black screen appears, try repeatedly pressing F2 or F10 to enter BIOS setup. Some Dell models use different keys, so check your laptop manual or Dell's website for the specific key combination. BIOS Settings Reset: If you can enter BIOS setup briefly, try resetting to default settings. Look for an option like "Load Default Settings" or "Restore Factory Defaults." BIOS Update: Check Dell's website for your specific laptop model and download the latest BIOS update. Install the update following the instructions on the Dell website.

@@RamtenkiAnusha well it’s working now because my uncle fixed it but like the bios was triggered and he said it was because of the the battery so he put a usb in there to fix it. Is there ways to do it without taking it to someone or without opening the computer
