HOW TO: Fix Broken Car Air Vent Tabs For ANY Car!!!

I created this video as a REAL step-by-step tutorial for replacing and repairing vent tabs on ANY vehicle. It is a simple process that takes no longer than 5 minutes to do at home regardless your experience level with working on cars. Best of all, it will make your car look and feel much better on a day-to-day basis, making you feel better as well :)

This isn't for any car. My car vent is different, they all fell inside and i can't move it or open the vent now because of it. Because I don't want it to fall deeper inside, so I closed it

Thanks for the video, but the website only carries a very limited type of vent tabs for specific vehicle make and models.

I don’t make them, so I have no control over that. Try amazon, there are other companies selling on there. I included links to both in the description for that very reason. You could try emailing that company and see if they could make the tabs for your make and model. Sorry I couldn’t help more. Hopefully you find a solution!

my old piece is broken inside the air vent, am I able to get that out and if so how?

Yeah it’s 100% doable. You just need to remove all the surrounding trim panels and then remove the vent piece and fish it out. Will be very annoying and time consuming. Be very careful as interior trim clips can be very thin and cheap plastic that breaks easily. Will not be an easy job but for sure can be done. Search online forums for your specific car for guides. I wish you the best!

Yeah so venttabs is just one company. There are a lot of other companies out there that make a similar product. Try the Amazon links in the description. They’ll lead you to a bunch of diff producers listed on Amazon. Hopefully you can find the part you need!

Sorry you couldn’t find a clip for your car. Hopefully they’ll add your model soon. I’m pretty sure they have an email on their website. If you want to be super proactive you could send them and email and ask them to make you one. I did this to a company that discontinued the carbon fiber lip on my Mercedes CLS63 and they were kind enough to make me a new one within 2 months during peak Covid supply chain problems 🙂 Goodluck and I wish you the best!

I went to the vent tab website and they didn't have an option for the a 2011 honda Accord. They had a civic and a crv for that year but not Honda. Weird
