My lower back just recently started to annoy me. I'm 35, I did these stretches, helped so much straight away. Thanks for the vid man. I appreciate it

@@PrecisionWellbeing I'm absolutely fine. I think it was the change of life. I was active but when lockdown happened I was on zoom sat down for 8 hours a day. Effected my lower back. All good now.

I’m sorry for everyone who is watching this, I’ve been sick for about four years now and it began to affect my study and my life in general, non of us deserves to feel this pain, I hope we all can get rid of that pain

SIR YOU ARE AMAZING I Wish I had you 13 years ago (when i was 20 years old) I was hit by a drunk driver & wasn't wearing a seat belt Accident caused lower bulging discs and torn ligament... The therapy I had was a tense unit 3 times a week, ended up getting acupuncture, epidural shots, cortisone shots, which didn't relieve any pain & i ultimately was given opioids Causing dependency/ addiction. That accident became a longer recovery process then it should have. I know I'm not the only 1 who lived this kind of chapter in my life. Sorry for rambling... Thank you

Wow I connect with you on so many levels. I was hit by an elderly woman on my motorcycle cracking 3 vertebrae in my lower spine. Afterwards I dealt with drug addiction and never knowing if this pain will go away. After this first stretching session I already feel relief and will continue to watch this video!

Added to my favorite videos. I currently have numb putter toes on my left side, almost can't walk or walk as I'm an electrician. Hoping these exercises will help! Shame you don't have more subs or views. One of the bet videos I've found yet!

Not only are you easy on the eyes but you’re knowledgeable and understanding as well. I believe I strained my back doing hamstring stretches with my back lurched forward 🤦🏻‍♀️ Will do the slight leg bend from now on!

I've been suffering with serious bad lower back pain this last week. I just woke up like it. I haven't been horse riding for months, I've not hurt my back in anyway.... I've struggled picking my little one up and hurts to walk up and down the stairs and to do day to day tasks. With the restrictions happening and christmas nowhere is open so I can't see a chariopracture. So watched this video and did the first couple of exercises and oh my goodness! I wished I did this sooner!!! The pain isn't completely gone as feeling a little achy but so much better than what it was! Thank you so much for making this video. I watched the most common lower back pain video to see how I was exactly feeling the pain to try and treat it as best as I can without hurting anywhere else and touch wood it's worked. THANK YOU!! You've literally saved my back :D

Watch the video before this. I have severe lower back back from car accidents originally. I'm 57 female. My back has become worse because I stopped taking anti inflammation for months. So it's made it worse. I just started taking Aleve. So now I can start strengthening my back and other areas in in body . Thank you for your information to see if it helps. I'm excited to see if I feel better. Great videos.

Best video on lower back pain ! Advice is awesome and better than all the others i have seen so far. My back pain of 4+ years relieved to great extent by the hip and hamstring stretches.

@@PrecisionWellbeing , I have pain in left side of all these body parts - lower back + shoulder blade, upper neck and wrist. Pain starts either in shoulder or lower back and then in a day or two it starts in the other parts. I have tried bridge exercises 3 years ago and it completely fixed it but it does not work anymore, thoracic stretches worked around 1 year ago and now both of these do not help. Hip and side stretches are helping but only temporarily. The pain again comes back even without any strenuous activity. The stretches in this video have helped in lowering the pain in lower back to great extent but still the left side shoulder blade and neck pain persists.Any suggestions ?

I accidentally threw my back out, helping my father build something in the backyard-this happened in April 2020 and I STILL have really bad lower back pain. I’m gonna do these a couple times and come back to see how much it helped!!

Im having extreme lower back pain a 10 to 12 ...it's been five days & was getting better then got unbearable can hardly walk.. only release is standing in one position or laying down on my back or side . when I try to change position I have severe pain....I'm 67 & had disk surgery when I was 35 ..no pain down my leg.. please help..

My husband is 38. He is starting his 3rd week off work due to his lower back. He originally hurt his back when he was 14 in gym class. I hope it's not a life long problem for you. Wishing you the best. I'm going to have my hubby try the hanging exercise tomorrow. No way he could do the rest yet. PT is only doing ultrasounds right now.

@@nicky77uk1 these helped the first few days were rough but it got better the more I did them. After the pain was gone there were times that I didn't do them cause I'm lazy and didn't always feel like doing them. But when I feel tightness in my lower back or pain, then I do these. It's my go-to now, I do them more regularly but not always.

My back in general has been extremely tight for years. Foam rolling with a lacrosse ball has improved my upper up back greatly. Now I'll focus the lacrosse ball on my QL, TFl with strengthening. and stretching

@@cinmac3 once I was able to get up the hanging and the 3rd stretch at the 5:03 mark in the video worked well for me. Hope u r feeling better these days

My physio just puts the machine on the back vibrating the back and then a few spine corrections and sends me off... this gives a good explanation on how to do and what to expect.

@@loveshore4721 I continue to stretch twice daily. (Usually) I also see a chiropractor on a weekly schedule. I'm doing much better. The sciatica lessened over a period of 2 weeks. I get twinges of it, if I don't stretch regularly.

I honestly feel like giving up. Have had chronic back pain for over 1.5 years after a gym injury and I’ve been seeing a physio for over a month with zero improvement. I’ve paid £150 so far and I feel upset and ripped off :(

Hi Marquez, it took me a year to fix my back pain and I know what I'm doing so don't give up. It takes time for your body to improve. £150 is not that much compared to what some people pay. The key is to make sure you are doing the homework your physio gave you and not rely solely on their treatments. Good luck getting it better. Best wishes, Ashley.

I had a herniated disc which took over a year of work to heal. Had numbness in my calf, sciatica, etc. Had to exercise, stretch, change my chair, get some physio and chiropractic help. Hang in there. It will get better, but it may cost some money and especially time and effort.

It takes a long time and a comprehensive approach. Check EVERYTHING you might be doing wrong or causing your pain: your mattress, your posture, your chair where you sit the most, strengthen your abdomen muscles to help take the strain off your back.

For me I am experiencing lower back pain because I am a week post tummy tuck. All the lying in bed in a face up position and sitting down and walking with a hunch are hurting my lower back really badly. I have to selectively choose exercises to do to TRY to help alleviate the sore spots in my lower back. Hope they go away soon. I tried to send money using the 'THANKS" button a few times but I could not do so. Not sure why. Really appreciate your work.

I have had double knee replacements. The crossed leg exercises are painful. Should I proceed at an eased pace or should I stop altogether. Thanks, JIM

Hi Jim, I would suggest you be careful with those cross legged stretches as they can put strain on the knee ligaments. I would suggest you find a physical therapist in your local area who can help guide you through some stretches while making sure your knees are OK. I Hope that helps, best wishes, Ashley.

Thank you Ashley - your thorough instructions and calm advice have been so helpful. The shoulder stretches have turned my shoulder pain around! I have a bone spur in my right hip that makes it harder to do any of the stretches. The hip has a small range of motion. Will consistently practicing the stretches eventually loosen that hip, or would they cause problems down the line?

I have had lower back pain since I had my son, I had back labour. It got better for awhile when I lost a ridiculous amount of weight, (unhealthy amount) and I’ve gained it all back, and want to get into shape, so i started working out. I had to stop due to my lower back pain. I just bought an inversion table, hoping that this will help, instead of “hanging from a bar”, and I can use the table to do pilates with...

people always think it stems from the area that hurting and the pain does yes but you also have to help the surrounding muscles. and you gotta stretch longer than 15 seconds my god. and they gotta be done every day.

Any tips for stretches with people with thick calves and thighs. I find the hamstring and hip ones tough to get leg over even while on the floor.

I also have chronical dull back pain from all the long sitting sessions. The worst thing with this backpain are the parethesis issues I in my arms and even legs. The tingling and stings are killing me. It only happens when I m sitting on my desktop chair . It is so annoying and frustrating to deal with this. I m studying pharmacy and not beeing able to sit and study in peace is the worst thing. I m only 24 and tried everything on the internet. Honestly i dont know what to do anymore :( I hope maybe this can help. Thank you so much for your efforts in making these videos.

Ed Lane I have had a problem with acute lower back pain which can be brought on by a simple movement e.g stepping out of the bath or bending to pick something up. The pain is such that I can not move for some minutes and have to either straighten or move very carefully to prevent further very acute pain. I am 78 years old and would like to do the exercises you recommend but find some of them very hard to do. Could you please tell what simple stretches you would recommend.

I use magnet for back pain and sciatica- I first bought Nikken back pad for the back - then I bought magnet bracelets - magnet medallions- corset with magnets ... the Nikken pad seams to have lost power and it cost over £ 100 , 10 years ago -- two days ago I bought two small magnet coins strength 3.5 kg and they seam to work well - my pain decreased from 70% to 20% in 1-2 hours -- they cost less then £ 4.00 -- while you wear them on your skin , your saliva becomes very bitter - your gums are bit funny and your eye socket weird -- I think it is when they rebalance your body -- I trust they have no collateral effect ....I have been using them for 15-20 years ....... they are saving my life 😁😅 🙏

At age 28, I had been an automotive ASE Master Tech for 10 years and simply a Tech for for ten years before that. More work than I can handle a guy who built a new shop on a hill, tried for 3 months to get me to quit and work for him. His bill was not built correctly and one side of the concrete sunk. To get cars in, we cut 8X8” blocks at an ramp to get it. His so called lawyer brother & him lost their case. Since I had ran farm loaders even a D-4 Cat, I ran a “Backhoe” and removed concrete & dirt to open a 20’ X 100’ hole, 4 feet deep. 6 months later he shows up with a used vertical jumping jack or earth compaction machine. I almost locked my tool box and left. After a 20 minute argument, I ran this 200 lb. jumping machine in dry dirt that turned into mud. The viscous suction that wants to pull your shoe off, required me to lift it while running and move to another location with the same results. I had went 3 days before my first pinch. I ended up having a bulging disc, sent home and lost my legs, dropped in pain and sat for 5-6 minutes before the pain quit. In 1987, back surgery was crude and brutal....still is. They injected dye, took X-Rays and run out of the room. For the patient, a 6’3” guy is feeling fire/tingling in each limb on a tilted table with my ass hanging out. Donor bone was harvested and cut into match-stick sized chunks, placed on scraped live bone.,Some Drs. use ties with any bone powder they can save to truck the lumbar into thinking it’s injured and grow together. The Doc (R.I.P.) told me that 3 major muscles on both sides (6) had torn, leaked, contracted and grew to gather. That’s scar tissue. 2005, teaching, turned and popped another. The “Harrington” procedure was used on the L3 & L4 fused. Kept working. Tore a rotator cuff, needed ulnar release, new metal elbows were needed & 1 knuckle. 2008, Dr. plug the plug on my career. I am not wired for watching “Judge Judy” re-runs. 2009-2010, a burning stared in my low back. It got worse & worse and felt like a torch heating deep below the skin. It got worse. 2019 Doc orders L3-L2 epidural, best day & 1/2 ever. I could walk to the mailbox. MRI showed more, second epidural came the day before my birthday. Again, greatest day & 1/2 in years but up high. I know series circuit wiring and is true with bi-direction info. July 15th 2020, Doc got in there and did not like was he saw. He installed and replaced everything to 1987. Same burning, no change. The nerves that exit the L3-L2 control those low dead, scar tissue muscles. But fixing anything, they worked on the symptom and not the root cause. I need help. I can’t earn a paycheck but like to get one think done per day. Now I eat >500 - 750 calories and find that hard to burn. There is stuff I want to do, need to do and things my wife wants. I don’t want to be on the 128MME Chart from pencil pushers in DC. They have not been hurt. They don’t have a clue, so perhaps that $350 water pump just went up to $3,800. Damaged goods in Omaha.

I'm 28 and have just started a physical job, I enjoy it, but my body has some trouble keeping up. I have particular pain in the centre of my spine where it joins my hips (lumbar spine?). Hoping these exercises can help me get through the day a bit easier.
