How to fix CISS cartridge can't be recognized by the printer?

I have an Epson WF 3620 and is not recognizing the black ink. I didn't get a jumper either bit put a piece of plastic and it worked for me. Do you have any other ideas in how to make it work?

I bought this excat kit for my EPSOn WF 2850 it said it was compatible but no matter how many times I take it out and reinstall cartiages my printer won’t recognize it help

Is it possible to prevent a printer from spitting out a print during a CISS reset? Ugh, that pisses me off so much when it's in the middle of a print, suddenly claims it's low, then actually stops and requires a reset, resulting in a wasted sheet (13x19 to be exact). A better alternative would be a hacked firmware to make it so the print meter never drops, where you wouldn't need to reset the CISS at all unless you had a clog and just initiated a cartridge change (cart changes are better than head cleanings because it flushes more ink)

Do you recommend initializing a brand new printer with the stock Epson ink cartridges or can I just start with your system on my 7710

We recommend initializing it with the OEM cartridge first before install the CISS. it will setup the printer properly and helps with the ink flow.

my problem is that when i press the button during ink cartridge change (ciss button), it still shows low levels, despite the printer claiming the carts were successfully installed. when i press the button during a change, they appear to correctly react (they go blank then appear when letting go). what gives?

What’s “low ink warning”? Why one cartridge "can't be recognized "? How to reset cartridges? The printer doesn’t know how much ink you fill into the tank/cartridge. The “Low ink warning" message is an estimation from the printer, just ignore it, and the printer will not stop you printing. You need to wait until the printer shows one of the cartridges as "Can't be recognized " message, means the estimation ink lever for that cartridge is “EMPTY”. You will need to reset the “estimation ink level” of the cartridge. How to reset: Open the scanner unit or remove the switch jumper (A rubber plug for the scanner unit closing switch) if installed, There is a reset button on the Circuit board which will be sticking out on top of the cartridges. Press and hold for 5 seconds and press hard before closing the scanner unit (or install the switch jumper).

Mine says BK, M, Y not recognized after I reinstall it.. So it recognizes the C. Does that mean there’s a problem with my circuit board?

Looks like the ciss is not compatible with your printer.

@@niukui I have 2 of them (the exact same) one for regular ink one for sublimation ink.. The one I have running the regular ink works just fine. I even switched the board on the back with the battery. The one running regular ink still worked and the one running sublimation still didn’t.. Could it be the ink?

not all are the same. one of my ciss systems has a reset button and the one i cant to rego doesnt have a button to reset
