Hi there I have HL error code and I've tried descaling plus I have to use an extension lead and didn't know not to allow wires gather up... Hi thanks for all your posts everything you said have really helped. After changing both heater elements and sensor I still have the HL code. I must admit it sounds like the pump I is not pumping water properly so think the problem starts before the heater. Have you any advice that would help me please 🙏

If the HL code displays soon as you power on its the proe. if the HL displays after the ewater get too hot? then your need a control panel replaced. i have some new here. avoid used ones and they can fail also. www.layzrepair.co.uk/product/cleverspa-replacement-control-panel/

are you sure the probe hasnt come unplugged while re fitting the PCB

@@layzrepair no i don't think so cos it reads the temperature and then stops and goes up straight away until the error, plus at the beginning it was reading fine until I pressed heat and filter and that's all.

So I have just replaced the temperature sensor and heater. My Question is does it matter when you are putting the clips back on the heater which goes where? I have one of the main cables going to each loop and then the little cable connecting the other two so that would create a loop? Sorry should have taken a photo before I started taking it apart and your video doesn’t say. Personal just over complicating it.

So I have replaced thermostat and heater but no joy still cold. . Thermostat was working fine . But no heat. Suggestions? Not convinced that the old heater was broken. Bottom vent seems to be more sucking than blowing I thought it should be the other way round? While I remember getting the glue off the old temperature sensor on the board was a task. The whit clip came off the board but it just slide back into the pins is this my problem or should that be fine? Sorry for all The questions

replace the water pressure switch. this closes the loop once water is present in the chamber.if faulty then power will not reach the heater element, or just bypass it for now! then you know the heater works. @@michael3045

Hi, I’ve been getting a HL error code on my cleverspa Cannes hot tub. The heater comes on but it keeps jumping up and when it goes above 50 it errors out. I’m not in a hard water area either. Can’t see anything wrong with filter or water outlet port. Any advice?

you need to replace the PCB.. i can do this for you at www.layzrepair.co.uk or source one yourself. best practise to replace the temp sensor as well i have them in stock on my website.

Hello, I’m getting the HL error code on my cleverspa Florence when reading up it tells me to reset via the reset switch for the heater unit and the other way is just unplug it and wait which I’ve tried. Is there a reset switch for these hot tubs? Want to try this before I look at buying a new heater element and a temp sensor

they are referring to the power reset switch. the clever spa does not have a manual thermal reset switch.

Hi, I'm getting the HL heating error jumping up to over 43 and then tripping out. The water coming out of the pump just before the temp hits 43 is red hot hence the trip out so it's heating but too much. I've replaced the temp sensor and the hearing element is immaculate as we've only used the spa about 4-5 times over the last couple of years. I did a test last night without water and the temp rose nice and steadily, but when I added the water today it shot up to 43 really quick. Any ideas as its driving me crazy?

have you checked the impeller inside of the filtration pump? sometimes these break in the middle.

does the HL code show after the temp goes over 45 degrees? if so also replace the PCB. you can grab a used one off ebay for around £20

also make sure the impeller isn't faulty. as this can cause temperature raising inside the heater chamber.

It's cold only just put water in. As soon as you put heater and jet on it stops and the code comes on

Hi, I'm getting FC error on my cleverspa, not even inflated yet, it was stored for few months and now won't inflated, after I plugged in it comes with FC error straight away, iv the resetting thing (press and hold filtration button) but that won't work. Any advice please?

its a standard error after 168 hours to change your filter. pretty useless really as how would it know how long have you been in the water? anyway. to rest the alarm. long press the filter button.

also place the unit onto its back. fill with cleaning vinagar to soak the impeller in case this has dried and stuck during storage.
