Today my TB350 clutch cable tore off far away from home. Luckily managed a cable from a shop just before closed down but no mechanic as it was late in evening. Best part is - I saw this video which saved me. Although it took some time but I could fix it up myself and return home. Thanks for your great video content and lucid explanation. Somewhere miles apart you are helping someone. Best wishes. 🙏

Hello sir tq,very neat about the clutch cable,i have one doubt about the clutch rod in the clutch plates,first point is when i purchased my thunderbird350 the clutch rod is at full at right hand side ahead on upper screw liver adjustment after 50000 kms i have changed the clutch plates so that now the rod is in middle position why so we are changed the clutch plates it should be on full right hand side position itself like new bike?is they a chance of spring tension on clutch rod,(i have asked the mechanic in showroom,he answered me that the the clutch cable will expand while using,so that i have been told him to replace its done,but it’s staying the same as middle)please I kindly request you

i adjusted my clutch play...now i feel the bite very end of clutch travel...though gear operations is much smoother after adjusting... is it right adjustment sir...?? also whether the Fulcrum too should have play?? .. and last, when my bike is in main stand, i start it, then i engage the first gear by holding clutch the wheel starts spining though i have not released the clutch yet...why is that happening...is it normal...?
@MechAutoClinic2 жыл бұрын
Due to inertia wheel will rotate even if it is in clutched so don't bother. Only thing is make sure u don't go ahead when in clutch and wheel is touching ground and not on main stand. If that happens then u may need to tighten the clutch wire little more. Bullet clutch is generally tight. Can't keep play in the lever otherwise vehicle moves ahead

Sir squeaky sound coming from rear break of my standard. New bike. What could be wrong ?
@MechAutoClinic6 жыл бұрын
squeaky sound may come due to rusty drum or hard brake shoe ...if vibs then bent backplate.
@akishan986 жыл бұрын
Do you mean the clutch hub back plate ?
@MechAutoClinic6 жыл бұрын
back plate means you can say brake plate...the assembly which has brake shoes..
