So should I do that myself? So I cut out the cracks...then add that concrete bonding adhesive, then use what I have is hydraulic cement for water leaks. Then paint? One guy quoted me 1500 bucks for fixing and repairing and painting. is that a lot?

Yes, you can attempt this fix if ya like. Your success depends on how good you are working with your hands I would say. You cut into the cracks in a dovetail fashion, (larger opening toward the bottom of the crack than the top or surface area). Use GREAT CARE when using angel grinders!!! Hold the grinder tight while NEVER WEARING LOOSE CLOTHING! Go slowly and carefully. I then wash the crack out with water and then apply a mix of Rapid Set Mortar: www.homedepot.com/p/Rapid-Set-55-lbs-High-Performance-Fast-Setting-Mortar-Mix-04010055/202188453 and regular mortar: www.homedepot.com/p/Spec-Mix-94-lb-Type-S-Mason-Mortar-Mix-0179594000/100317718 at 1 part fast set to 4 parts spec mix. See this video for more on that: kzbin.infojol3aWTekag?feature=share I use Sika AcrylicAdd-Mix 100% on small cracks and 50% acrylic to water on larger repair areas. See: www.homedepot.com/p/Sika-SikaLatex-1-Gal-Concrete-Bonding-Adhesive-and-Acrylic-Fortifier-187782/202521398 On painting that's a whole different challenge. Not easily perfected without lotsa practice. Still good for you if ya want to go for it! :) Here's a painting video you can check out. Good luck to you! kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYOaYmdud9qljKs

I see at Home Depot this Sakrete stone veneer mortar. Maybe that would work too? Or maybe waterproofing mortar from rapid set?
