How to fix flickering headlights

Thought I’d let you know this did work for me. I found out about my lights being a problem when I was going 75 down a highway in the middle of the night. I’d have to like flip my lights on and off again otherwise the lights would stay off for quite a while, especially for driving at night. Changing the switch was also super easy.

Same problem here. Took my 300 to the dealer and they're like "we never heard of that before". Got the switch from Rock Auto for $40. Bingo - no more crazy light issues. Now if only I could solve my power window gremlins.

You forgot to secure the red locking tab. It may be unlikely but the wiring harness could pull loose. Might want to pop that out and slide the red locking tab in to position.

Ive done that replaced it with a new one its not the issue.. in some-cases it could be but not on my sh!t .. that did not fix the flickering !

I don't have the flickering lights but when I do shift from Park to neutral to reverse Drive the headlights dim for quick second, don't know if it's normal

My back lights are on at night but still are dim would this help. I bought brand new bulbs for the back and put them, they definitely work.

Quick fix, I disassembled the switch and sprayed it with electrical contact cleaner and all is well. Electrical contact cleaner costs about 7 bucks

Overpaid. Could go to a yard and pick 5 yourself and a stock radio from a magnum that has a aux cord outlet for dirt cheap

Thomas Phillips they say it is a switch problem and that should fix it try replacing your bulbs with lower wattage bulbs so they don’t draw so much power

Changing the switch did not resolve my headlight pulsating issue.

There's a software reset the dealer can do. I had the same pulsing problems on my 05 Magnum. The reset didn't help, but when I tightened my battery cables, the problem disappeared. Good luck...its a known problem.
