Hi salon guy I'm James I'm 37years old My hair separates around the crown it shows my scalp my hair is really thick I have a really good hairline but I have a swirl around the crown it separates my hair showing my scalp everywhere else on my head you can't see any scalp I'm growing my hair out I'm 5months in from shaved head my goal is growing out all of my hair to my collar bone will this hide the separated hair swirl around my crown growing it out thanks in advance great topic because I thought I was loosing my hair at the crown but no it's my hair it's growing in different directions around the crown

How about if you have a double cowlick my son has it on his crown part makes it hard to cut his hair.

At that rate, I'd say just let it grow longer and just brush the hell out of it. As in, when it's long enough, brush it down and it should be easier and won't show the crown. If any of that makes sense

Hairstylist opinion.... I cut with chunking shears on bad cowlicks so it will blend an still have weight enough to kinda keep it in place. 1

Hi Mert. First please define “messy hair”. Are you looking for a shorter spikey messy haircut like the second mannequin shown in this video? Another messy style is more of a shag or mop top (TikTok haircut)? If you are going for short messy spikey top or mop top (long hair on top ,disconnected from sides) then just keep cutting the sides and leave the top grow out until you decide it needs the frayed ends trimmed or when you finally like the length. Usually messy hair is texturized and/ or point cut.

@@kayraff5638 hi and thank you! The messy hair i want is anything apart from straight hair. I have quite a wavy hair but it needs to be hella long to actually look that wavy and long hair doesnt suit me. So I wanted to make my hair more wavy when its shorter
