Great tips. Lately, I have had that very problem happening intermittently and it is caused by Win10 updates :-(. I install the update, (KB whatever) > I get the problem. However, I can generally boot on the 2nd or 3rd attempt , I then remove the update > all works fine... It only seems to happen on HP notebooks and the official explanation is some HP custom security layer that conflicts with some of the Win10 code. Usually, HP comes up with a fix within two weeks... I have a Spectre X360. Cheers!

Please download and install HP UEFI Support Environment latest version on your PC and check if it helps. I reset mine to factory settings, since then, it has brought this message again, turned back to normal, again today, turned back to normal, and again now and is not going back. I really want to save the rest of my art to a drive before I try a reset again... at this point, I think I should start saving up for a computer.. Hi @YesiiTells when you do the confirmation like the 5222+enter...you need to make sure that you inserted an external device or usb drive that has the bootable windows.. so when it restarts it loads the bootable windows from the usb /external drive then youll see the option to fix your windows or install clean hope that helps
