What’s up, I’m trying really hard to get FaceTime and iMessage reactivated on my iPhone 7 by checking my Wi-Fi status, resetting my network settings, checking my date and time, restarting my iPhone 7 by pressing and holding the the power button and the volume down button until the Apple logo appears and turning on FaceTime and iMessage

In January my facetime and imessage turned off. Everytime i would try to turn it on it says “activation unsuccessful”. I rested my network settings, didn’t work. I reseted my WHOLE phone.. made a new iCloud.. lost everything and it still didn’t work. Watched many videos about it before this one & it wasn’t helping. My phone is up to date. I have a number and iCloud linked to my phone. My trusted number is my moms phone number. Still nothing will work!! Someone please help me and give me tips. My imessage only sends green even if they have iPhones. Tired of seeing green everywhere, not being able to play imessage games, sharing my location, and FaceTiming my friends and family. Any tips will be appreciated!!!!

If this didn’t work for you, try powering down your device turning it back on, will give the best wifi, once you do that make sure your signed in on your FaceTime, this will allow you to have access to calling or FaceTiming people. This worked for me.

I kept some balance for my Indian carrier (airtel) to which i had ported, post restart it tried sending sms and showed me waiting for activation for a day Post 2 days I restarted to check if this gets fixed, post restart it again sent sms for activation (5rs cost) and right away activated my face time Do note i had updated my phone number in number section (phone section of settings)

My Mom is in an assisted living place. She's very old and weak and forgets everything. I had this idea about setting up something like a pet or baby monitor to keep an eye on things when we can't be there. But even more so I want to be able to have a screen set up so that we can facetime her. She's unable to remember or execute even the simplest of anything new to her, like accepting a screen call. So I'm trying to figure out the cheapest way to have my face automatically pop up onto this screen or monitor? Like on one of my favorite childhood cartoons, The Jetsons! I don't know if we could set up a screen with camera and then just leave facetime on indefinitely? That might work with 1 person but then how would the others call and see her? Is there like an Autoaccept option, where any incoming call will go straight to screen time? If you could please shed some light on this dilemma, I would be most grateful! I did everything the video said too and NOTHING worked BUT I have a SOLUTION! what just fixed it for me was press top volume button quickly, then bottom volume button quickly, then hold the power button and reset it that way, resetting it any other way didn’t work until I did that!!
