Does this fit kitchenaid model KRMF706EBS01? I have the same issue, freezer works but refrigerator does not cool and does not make ice either.

Great Video! So just so im understanding correctly, I currently have a fridge that is not cooling properly. its barley cold at all and might just be because its all contained. Ice maker not working, freezer not freezing and Fridge def not the correct temperature. If I check the back. assuming the Run Capacitor gets the correct reading it might just be the Relay?

How did you know the relay is bad?

Most of the time, if you shake the relay, and it makes a rattling noise is definitely the relay in this case. My experience basically tells me if it’s the relay or not sometimes it will not made a rattling noise and this video is for homeowners that wants to repair their appliances by their selves and they don’t have all the tools if you want to see how to check if is the relay for sure there’s a video that I link in the description of the video they show you step-by-step how to check the compressor and everything I’m gonna go ahead and leave the link right here as well. Don’t install those 3-1. That’s a great way to destroy the compressor

If you check the compressor the right way and install the right one it’s no problem. I’ve been using them for 21 years never had a problem unless the compressor is already bad.

They finally, after 16 trouble calls on my KRMF706ESS01 5 year old refrigerator, that it could not be repaired! Had to empty the fridge 3 times at least. First it was the ice maker, then the ice crusher, then the condenser, then it was the freezer stopped freezing anything, then the fridge went to 45 degrees, then always something else and always the fix was supposed to FIX IT. After threats to ASURION, the insurance company for my extended warranty, to SUE for elder abuse for making us jump through effing hoops over and over , we are 75, we were done. The last repair guy said it was insane they made us do that much and it is a LEMON. ASURION finally after 5 years of garbage excuses paid for a new fridge. @ $3700. They also paid for $200 in food loss after a “fix”. My husbands medicine is $12,000 a month so they did give us a tiny fridge to keep it in until we got our new fridge. Once they decided to replace it it took 10 to get the final!!! Apparently this model has inherent problems with not having a heater to keep the freezer from heating up so there thousands of these fridges that will eventually break down!!! I will never buy another appliance without an extended warranty. You should also! The insurance Company had to have put out $3-4000 in repairs!!!! We would have had no fridge after 1 year if we had not gotten an extended warranty because we would not have been able to afford the repairs only to ultimately not ever repairing it. Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid was class action SUED and had to pay like $200,000,000 in fines because of this kind of crap. Check out their lawsuit before you buy one!!
