Good video! We have a KitchenAid KRSC703HPS00. Recently the freezer section stopped cooling. We unplugged it, cleaned the coils, plugged it back in and it started working again. Over the last month it has stopped working twice and the problem is fixed by unplugging it, waiting 10 minutes and plugging it back in. The refrigerator side does not seem to be affected. Does this seem like an inverter issue, or is there a thermostat on the freezer side that might be bad?

Did you notice getting 3 blinks on the invertor led when first plugging in cord on the bad on?

Searched several parts supply sites and there is no "inverter", just the capacitor and start relay or device.

"Inverter boards" can be found alot of places online, including the KitchenAid website, Amazon , eBay and others. You're just have to have the part number to get the correct one. I removed mine from the fridge, took a picture of it, googled the picture and it gave me a few suppliers.

I have a kitchen aid. The fridge stopped cooling, but the freezer gets cold. I replaced the fan, and the motherboard. But the condensor in fridge does not get cold, and the fan does not turn on. Any advice?

@ismechris yeah, it takes a good 30 minutes. The freezer starts cooling first. This stupid thing goes back and forth between the freezer and fridge
