Hey, my contracting/expanding hose blew out about 6 ft of it because I 4got to turn the spigot off b4 I left go of the spray attachment. I'm gonna try to fix this by myself, although, honestly, I'm not handy @ all. But, I can't use the hose as it stands now, so no harm, no foul. I have to get those clamps 1st tho. So, hopefully, I can resurrect this purple hose. It's in my favorite color and I so hate to throw it out. I'll keep u posted. But your video (which I'm gonna save) makes it look doable. You're welcome. I hope you get to fix all them. To keep it more durable try to follow some tips. 1. Avoid to put it away full of water, so, drain all water before putting on the holder. 2. Avoid to keep water running with the trigger closed, so it makes more pressure inside it making some areas weak and can cause future holes. 3. If you have to much water pressure in your faucet, try to open less. 4. Avoid to leave it on the flor, so your pet don't chew it, car/bike/people doesn't pass over it, and so on. 5. Avoid to leave / put away in the holder under the sun. By taking care like that, my new one have lasted much more than the previous one. Good luck and stay safe.

Hi, the multifunctional nozzle sometimes gets leak on the front of it if you do not position the jet in the right position, I mean, if you put the selection between 2 different jets, it will leak, so try to select it right. If it is not the case, and it really got damaged I'd suggest you go to some warehouse/building supply store and get a new one to replace it. Hi there, I can't tell you if the brand/model you bought is good enough or not. What I could advice you is, use it right now and test it. I think you may have some days of warranty from where you have bought it. In my opinion as I said in the video it is a great idea, easy to roll and put away, and so on. How many people with failed hoses leave these hoses out in the sun and full of water? I've seen this so many times that I've lost count. Surefire cause for failure.

Hi Brian, that's is true, but mine was hung on a hose holder and in laundry with a ceiling that has no weather influence at all also kept empty of water, and caused failure a bunch of times, so it is really a product issue. There are some in the market that has a ticker latex that lasts more with water pressure and so on, but also has failures. Now a days I'm using my old and regular hose. Got tired of fixing it. Lol.

What if the leak is too close to the washer, by the wall? Is that a no fix? My father is useless when it comes to fixing anything and he has only 2 daughters. I'm the only one who helps him fix anything. And he gets so angry when something breaks... Instead of looking for solutions, he's playing the blame game and it's giving me a headache. I'm going to buy a new damn hose and be done with it, but that's not good enough for him. He wants me to turn back time and snatch the hose out of my mother's hands. The poor woman feels terrible and she didn't do anything wrong. These things are bad quality and I'm investing in the most expensive one I can find now. It's not worth the endless bickering.

Well, what I see here from your report, who needs a fix is you father's behaviour. Lol. Just kidding. Teel him to stop being so annoying, life is too short, enjoy it instead as you said, it is a bad product fault not family fault. Deep breath, all will be solved. Regarding the leak close the washer, try to check if it needs a new o'ring or a new flat gasket or even try to use a thread seal tape on it. Yup, It was good while it lasted and used couple years until my patient to fix 4 or more times fixing in different places ended up. Kk. So, I went back to using the traditional hose.
