@@iyadabbas1644 i fixed my problem by renewing my cpu and gpu thermal paste it got my gtx1660 super that was giving me on low setting and everything off max 30 fps and min 6 fps on red dead 2 to and now giving me 70 fps max and 40 fps min on nearly everything on high and some on ultra,my problem was i forgot completly that i need to renew the thermal paste for cpu and gpu

Maybe this will help someone. If you're playing a game with dlss support. It was the culprit for i changed the setting to performance and back to balance. And everything has been fine ever since for me. Im guessing DLSS has some kind of bug. So check it first before you start messing with settings all over your PC

maybe ur psu is too weak and the pc dosent want to use that much power, plus fort in preformance mode doesent use much gpu power since its a cpu heavy game plus the preformance mode is so easy to run that is forces the gpu to not use much, if u use non preformance mod is will get higher usage and prob the same fps

overclock it, ill copy paste what i said to other ppl- i found a solution- 1. reset all the registry changes anyone has made you done, most are counterintuitive and dont help at all 2. i recommend resetting you full pc and deleted random files- makes your pc fresh and clean 3. overclock your CPU (if you can and are not on laptop) to a stable but high configuration with moderate 70c temperate in gaming 4. overclock you gpu also to a stable config with MSI Afterburner Keep in mind that your GPU will work best in whatever game requires it to work- some games are more cpu heavy rather than gpu, and in those games your aim should be to keep your CPU usage as LOW as possible. Thats something we cannot help since the game is designed that way. my rig- AMD Ryzen 5 3600h processor, GTX 1660 super GPU, 16 gb RAM my overclock- for cpu: 4075 hz overclock with 75-80c temp gaming, for gpu look up a vid on how to overclock with MSI afterburner
