I tried relinking but it does nothing I tried going to relink media pressed located videos it only says 1 clip could not be found am I missing something here?

I get this immediately after importing 1080p footage. It worked fine on the first clip, then the other that was on the same drive same folder but recorded today on the same device with the same settings: MEDIA OFFLINE. It's obviously not an offline issue but for some reason that's the error displayed. Turns out it was in HEVC format, upgraded android and they changed my phones default recording codec. Could still use handbrake to use those clips after encoding them into the default codec it uses.

This, it's not displaying the right error message, so none of these help videos will work to fix it. No shade on the creators, it's the programs fault =P

FOr me is not working any of the solution. I have some videos with 30fps and some with 60fps, and those with 60fps have the media offline issue. All the footage was made with an iPhone.

U can still edit them but you'd have have to get a paid one most likely. like adobe. Adobe supports iphone, pc mp4, nvidia/AMD

im still having problems the video were transfered from my phone to my desktop and when i open the videos to play my windows says you need a new codec this never happened before until today, now i got an app to hlp with the codec and the videos are working again but davinci still says media offline what do i do

You need to install hsvc codec on your pc , serch video about this ,how to install hsvc codec on window 10, or 11

I recorded video with my phone and used the audio from cubase, recorded video while playing the cubase recording, transfered the video from my phone to my computer.. DaVinci funds the audio but the video is offline.. I cant relink the video.. Im so frustrated.. What am I missing?

only 39 secs of video solved my problem .. thanks :-) (works on mac too)

Great approach! An important thing I'd like to add: If you have multiple ongoing projects while troubled with this error only in one, the first step might be not good since you'll lose the setting of other projects.

this software is not working with shadow play , no support for free users .. the free user can become a paid user as well.. i guess they never consider it as an option .

FYI: I've also noticed that the "Media Offline" can occur if you have too many audio filters. I removed my "de-esser" filter, and that problem went away. Go figure.
