Well, as we get older, certain parts of the body start to droop, sag, and loosen. It used to be that we required plastic surgery to “enhance” our body parts to mitigate or even reverse signs of aging. Now, we have Davinci Resolve.

Jay do you think have a micro panel is worth buying?
@OkGringoVlog2 жыл бұрын
Same here!
@timovepsalainen4927 Жыл бұрын
@@alexrozerotkirkwood7042 Main point of a control surface is to face time from having to use the mouse. With a micro panel, you don't have enough access to most of the common tools and you will be leaning towards using a mouse thus hindering your flow. I would invest in a Wacom Intuos pro to replace a mouse.

Jed Jumawan Jed Jumawan i never really tweak around with the color page because i dont shoot in log or in flat color profiles and its kinda overwhelming. im satisfied with the standard picture profile that i shoot in. i know im not using resolve and my camera to its fullest potential but im happy with the results im getting and thats fine by me. and ive been using resolve for school projects and what not. i dont put as much time into using resolve but hey everybody has their own paces when learning something new. (ps i didnt think that you sounded like a jerk✌🏽)

As for fusion, you just need to find simple examples like text with background. Follow them step by step. Using them it makes more sense, than just watching.
@Photovintageguy2 жыл бұрын
For the color page use the free resolve training on their website. They have sample videos to use and PDF books and videos. Again follow along coping exactly what it says in the videos and the books. You can watch the video once, but really you need to actually use the software as they tell you in the book. It's basically impossible to learn by watching, you need feedback of using the tools. You need hands on experience. People get stuck this way. I may seem tedious or silly, I assure you it is not. Put in the time. It's not hard, just a bit time consuming. Do a little every day, till you finish. What ever it takes.

Thanks so much for this. I’ve been getting deep into 3d graphics lately and just starting to play around with compositing and color grading. I’ve had no concrete idea of what these functions and curves really did (and surprisingly, seems to be missing from many tutorials, at least in the more 3D-focused space). I imagine I’ll be referencing this video a lot in the near future. 😊👍🏼
@David-cz7mm2 жыл бұрын
Nice 😎👍🏼 But if you don’t want your highlights to blow out in this example, Shadows and Midtones can be adjusted to get the right look. So both of the two color wheel groups have there pros and cons depending on the clip and situation! 😊

@mirrorlessmemory4 жыл бұрын
Lift: Shadows Gamma: midtones Gain: highlights When switching to Log, it’s the same thing but it’s more precise. Shadows changes darkest part of the image and highlights change the brightest parts whereas Primaries wheels does the same but larger part of the image. I prefer to control contrast with S curve and use the Primaries Wheels to add color in shadows and highlights. My go to is the faded look by raising shadows in s curve then dropping it again in Log; shadows.
@dunnadidit4 жыл бұрын
That’s nearly right but it’s a bit more complicated (or simple depending on how you look at it) than that. Because when you move lift, it also affects the highlights and mid tones. And vice verse, when you move gain, it affects the shadows and mid tones too. I think I showed this pretty clearly in the video. But I agree that I personally like to do my contrast with the curves too.
@mirrorlessmemory4 жыл бұрын
Dunna Did It ahh I see what you mean, the part where I said Primary Wheels is the same but at a larger scale, yes I misspoke there, it’s not the same as Log wheels in terms of what it does to the image.
