How to fix Miken and Worth Bat Knob Wobble

Hello. I just had the exact same problem with my white Miken DC 41. I read the comments and I also used a nail punch to knock the pin out. I had some help from a guy at Home Depot as the pin is quite tricky to get out. I put the tape on the top of the knob rather than the bottom as when it was on the bottom it would not align with the handle. So I put two small pieces of electrical tape on top of the knob. Then I knocked it back into the bat. The last step was to put the pin back in. That was the easy part. I just used a hammer, it went in quite easily. The last step was to re-grip the bat and voila I have a bat with a tight knob. Thanks once again for this video. Cheers !!

The only concern with electrical tape is that tape will compress and essentially thin out eventually causing wobble again. I specifically recommend painters tape or similar masking tape as it will not compress. It is also recommend because it will not leave residue like electrical tape or duct tape etc....

Bought the exact same bat from a fellow online. I specifically asked him if it had a knob wobble. Well I just received it and sure enough it had a slight wobble. Quite upset until I found your video and fixed it. Thank you!

Just tried this with my son's 2021 Demarini Voodoo One BBCOR -- it seems impossible with our Demarini, which has a loose knob loose due to the stem base fracturing (notorious problem with this model). The Demarini pin didn't want to come out. Used a punch and ultimately vice grips. Stubborn as hell. Pin was slightly damaged in the process, but it should still be reuseable. The real problem is that Demarini glued the knob stem (male part) to the inside of the bat (female part). I tried pulling hard to extract it. No dice. It's stuck. Since the stem is already fractured, I'm pretty sure the knob will just rip off I pull much harder, which would leave the stem stuck inside the bat. That won't help. So, it looks like the adhesive makes this job impossible on our Demarini. (At least not without specialized tools or expertise.) I won't try to remove the knob anymore. Instead, I'll use high strength epoxy to re-connect the fractured part and hope for the best.

How would you fix a bat the comes apart in the middle of the bat lol the end of the barrel of the bat and the whole handle went into the barrel seems like the glue came apart or something?

What tool did you use to get that pin out?

I actually use a Glock armorer's tool. You can find them pretty easily on eBay. Any other punch that fits that pin size will work too.

The pin should be a roll pin so if you go to the hardware store and get a slightly bigger roll pin it should fit snug and stay in place.

how did you get the knob off. im trying to get rid of a rattle in a mizuno and the endcap refuses to move so im trying to go in through the knob and it wont come off even with the pin out
