if it doesnt work for you, its probably one or two mods you have in your mod folder thats causing the game to crash. When i removed this one mod from my folder the game was working again

I’m using the curse forge to try and load forge 1.19 and on the launcher it just shows a furnace as the image for the game version and I get the error code when running it

Wow, straight to the point, I had already removed my mods from another version and I thought that wasn't the problem, but still when I saw this video I checked it again and for some reason I had the Optifine, so I removed it and now it works, thanks :)

It all started with trying to run forge 1.19.2 with a mod called epic pladins. First it would say something went wrong with loading the mod so I download and ran an older version of epic paladins but then it wouldnt show. Hi, I've been trying to play with my girlfriend, she gets this problem but it's really bizarre. (Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 1.20.1-47.0.3, other version of Forge don't work for me only this one) We have the same mods and forge version and stuff, it works for me, but not for her, she gets this problem shown in the video. We tried everything, gpu driver update, reinstalling java, reinstalling forge (even testing different versions), reinstalling minecraft launcher, installing minecraft launcher from windows store, deleting .minecraft, running as administrator, launching forge without mods (still crashes the same way), firewall settings, installing a curseforge modpack and putting the mods we want inside, etc. It works fine for me but not her, the one problem I saw was this: We cleared everything and after installing Minecraft 1.20.1 and running it once, we installed forge and it was installed correctly with no issues. But then when running the freshly installed version of forge with the launcher, a 550Mb downloads pops up on the launcher, but it stops before finishing and launcher crashes with an erreur message. After this problem, everytime she starts the forge version of minecraft it crashes everytime it starts with error 1 but vanilla 1.20.1 works perfectly. If someone could help please it would be so kind of you because it's now several days we try stuff but never suceed.

I have a completely different problem using 1.19.2 Forge, and the same version of the mod (downloaded mods are only suitable for forge) When you start some mod, I have two downloads, 1 download does not load completely (- + 10% does not load) then the download restarts and starts loading again, loads to the end, and then Minecraft just crashes. I go back to the launcher and write an error (There are mods that can be loaded easily, and there are mods that will blow a mistake) *any ideas how this can be fixed?*

I have this issue where I start the game with a new mod installed, the game loads, but doesn't finish, instead it tries loading again and eventually crashes with the following: The game crashed whilst rendering overlay Error: java.lang.NullPointerException: Registry Object not present: minecraft:empty Exit Code: -1" I made sure the mod was 1.19, which is the version my Minecraft is on, I made sure it was a forge compatible mod, I tried removing every single mod except for the one I tried installing, and I also made sure it didn't need any dependencies, yet it always gives the error unless I remove the mod. is this the same with resource packs? Because I only have Optifine as a mod in my folder to contribute to the "Optiforge" ability within Minecraft. However, I have no other mods within my mods folder, and Optifine is exclusive to the version I currently have selected. I also put all of my resource packs on the left hand side / disabled section where you can select which ones to place in your game. Should I remove these resource packs or is there something else that is wrong with my game? Thank you.

Okay so a new issue goes up. Whenever I try and load it, it loads for a little bit, and crashes giving me error -1. It says "java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: null" Whenever I load it. AND IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN I TRY AND LAUNCH FORGE! I removed all my mods, and updated my java 1.17 to 1.20 and it still wont work. I am currently running the game on 1.19.2 because that's the version my mods will work on. If there is a fix, please let me know.

You have to install forge to your client and then run your Minecraft forge client. Once it’s at the main menu shut Minecraft you should have a mods folder.
