I have gone through the troubleshooting steps numerous times and am still 'offline'. Updated preferred & alternate DNS to the 8.8.8.8 etc. When I run a 'test' the note says to check IP address and gateway & network cable connection. I did run a test and the IP is available. So I'm guessing the network cable is the issue. Weird thing is I did get it to go 'online' when we installed it all and then after a blackout I've not been able to get it back online since.

Hi. My polo dvr is working, networking setting is still same, but cameras have gone offline on mobile app. Network status is showing online. But still cameras are not working in mobile app. Can you help me to fix this issue?

There are so many reasons why your camera could be offline - it's difficult to know where to start. It's better to contact Uniview support. You can send an email to service(at)uniview.com. Try to add as much information as possible - they will be able to help you further.

how do I get this to connect on a different network? I have a few questions. my cameras are fed through a cpe to a base station (cbrs) to a vlan, my nvr is on a separate network. how do I get them to talk to each other? we have tried port forwarding because ezddns doesnt work but still no luck. all ports open. let me know if you have any ideas please

the separate network is a static ip address btw if that helps

What IP address are your cameras on, compared to your NVR? You may be able to use subnetting to get the cameras to talk to each other. I'll give you an example: • NVR - 192.168.0.5 • IP Camera - 192.168.7.201 Since the NVR and IP camera are on different IP address segments, you need to change the subnet mask for all the cameras and NVR. Instead of 255.255.255.0, change it to 255.255.0.0 (on the NVR & all cameras). Then, you can simply add the camera 192.168.7.201 to the NVR in the "Add Camera" page and it should connect. Unfortunately I cannot explain the theory behind subnetting within the small space of the comments section. You can try my suggestion and see if it works. You can also try changing the cameras IP address to a static IP address in the same network as the NVR. So if the NVR is 192.168.0.5, change the cameras to 192.168.0.6, 7, 8, etc. Best of luck, let me know how it goes. - Jaeden (XLR Security)
