Thank you so much! Worked perfectly on my S21. For others who are wondering, to enter download mode you hold both up and down volume keys while the device is off, and then plug in the computer usb while holding. Then select "yes" for custom OS.

The Downgrade worked because the Firmware you were on and the Firmware you wanted to downgrade to was the same Binary. They were both 3

@PivotLoL77 regardless, which phone you get all of them do the same thing. The only difference is some will stand out more than others. On the other hand I kinda understand why for multiple reasons, if you create a product you will program that product to work with the components if you swap out a component, then it's not original anymore. Therefore, it's not compatible, however, if it's fully original, then I might be a defect. And falls under warranty.

I had 2 s21 plus after update i lost touchscreen but when power died i got touchscreen working but it will lockup on me and then has to time out to unlock phone again to use again.

Can't get it to work with S21 Ultra.. The latest update for mine is Bit sw/rev "B", and there's only one. All the rest are A, 9, 8 etc.. I've tried different ones, but it wont allow me to flash an older one. I think i'm shafted.

Did you plug in your phone to your computer and let the website find the Correct Firmware S21 Ultra. Should still have firmware. It's not that old of a phone You may need to do it manually. But be extremely careful. Do not flash it with any other firmware. And make sure you have the correct category. ( Csc / scs ) Take your time and do not rush it. You cannot afford any mistakes here.

@@cartiontopnga If your binary code has changed there's not much you can do The only thing you can do is install a custom ROM But it's very complicated and I do not have the proper knowledge for it Or you can try to put a original screen back on it again And pray to god it will fix it At this point is literally nothing I can do for you as also mentioned in video description Due to it was your choice to get a third party screen Samsung is not responsible for that third party hardware Even though it's very frustrating Legally there's not much you can do Samsung is not responsible for third party hardware

If the binary version is upgraded during the update, no luck for you to downgrade. It will work only on same binary versions.

@@proktorgaming5882 follow the steps in the video if it doesn't give you a list of all the versions software there might be something else going on also be aware if your BIOS version has changed you can no longer roll back ( binary code version is higher than older version ) if that's the case you're screwed and there's nothing I can do for you also keep in mind I'm not an official technician I'm just a guy that's happened to find a fix for it however they have purposely upgraded to BIOS version also known as the binary code do a higher number so people can no longer roll back show people will be forced to buy a new phone also keep in mind since the screen is no longer original the manufacturer or the company brand is no longer responsible for it either which makes it very annoying and you cannot sue them for either because it was your choice to replace the screen with a non-original part therefore they are not reliable and not responsible which makes it more frustrating

They ask me to change the whole display which is costly and besides that the new display could stop working too due to software. So im just gonna wait for now and probably move to pixel

When i press start Odin says after 3 seconds failed, i have done everything exactly how you did, my phone is s21 ultra, tried even with the update of january, not just february, the same thing shows up. Tried changing ports, not working, only pen works on my phone, it doesn't recognize my hands

@@kalashmelody what does the log say if your binary code is higher it will not let you do it you will also see this message on your phone for example 5>3 if that's the case it will not let you do it due to that your binary version is higher than the firmware your tried to install if that's the case there's nothing you can do the only fix you can probably try is to get your hands on a original screen unfortunately

If you can find anyone that has the exact same phone as you do Use their phone to get the firmware After that use your own phone to force flash it with that software / Firmware Activate download mode and reinstall it

What device are you using / make sure you loaded in the correct firmware also note if your binary code is different it will no longer work 5>3 they literally just released a patched version yesterday which does not fixed issue it only makes it worse and prevents you from using this fix no worries since it failed on the check no damage has been done you can simply restart your phone
