None of the proposed methods worked. The original display was broken, it was replaced by a display bought at Ali Express (the seller swore he was selling an original Samsung display). Everything was working without problems until the One UI.6.1 update in August 2024. Since then it is unresponsive to touch (via OTG and mouse everything works great). Rumor has it that Samsung is blocking ie. disables non-genuine displays!!! Is this correct and is there a way to make the display workable?

If the method in the video doesn't work, you need to take your phone to a Samsung customer service center to let them help you check if it is a display problem.

I bet they are and I think I have a picture of the script they use, because I bought a refurbished one on Amazon and they forced the update and the touchscreen stopped working and even factory reset won't fix it.... It should be illegal but these evil companies get away with everything

Hey, i have problem. My screen on samsung works for like 3 minutes max and stops responding. I have tried to turn it of in sade mode to check if some apps may cause the problem but it was not the case, i even uninstall couple recent installed apps to see if it will get better but no results. I have to use mouse to even turn it off after it stops responding. Importamt thing is that i have not updated ui5 to ui6. I just simply love "old" look on my Samsung and for like couple months i havent seen any issues with no updates but mayby samsung is forcing me rn to update. I had once situation when after restart i expected screen to stop responding after this short period of time but it didnt for like 15 min when i watched some tutorial on that phone but as soonest i left KZbin and try to use it like i normaly use phone it stops work. Can you help me?

I guess the OS on your device is too old to be compatible with the apps. If you don't want to update the device, you can go to a repair store and see if they can give you advanced help.

Woot woot!!! This phone had been stuck! I bought a whole new phone months ago 😂 my sons phone just broke so i decided to try this one and still didnt work. I looked high & low online before i thought... now i decide try again, this is the first video i picked and BOOM..FIXED 😂 I just held the power & vol down button PASSED the screen restart pop up until the screen went black and rebooted and it worked!! Nothing anywhere explained that properly, i would hold until the restart popped up & be like well duh i cant do anything on the screen! 😂😂

Sometimes, the touch screen is intermittently not responding to touch. If the display is totally unresponsive, you can try the methods without needing to touch the screen in this video.
