Any idea how to turn off the power switch inside the dirt bin?

The dirt bin does not have any electronics in it as far as I know. It only collects dust. You do have to remove dust from the filter often or it clogs up. My Neato is the basic model so only has one button you can press. There is also the bumper button. As far as giving the vacuum commands there is a software you can download but not that easy to code anything. I would have to re open the vacuum to see if there are any switches on the internal chips but not that I can remember.

Yes I did tell you when I was young I should have been a mechanic or engineer, fixing things has always been my thing... I have been learning a lot about automated homes and artificial intelligence. It is also really fun to test new products and then tell a truthful story (experience or detailed review) about whether they work well or not and if they are worth buying. I think I will get the Google Home Mini soon to see if it is as good as they say... I know Amazon Alexa is really good.

It is a wonderful machine that is both fun to play with and saves you a lot of time when cleaning. It works in the dark, it is quite quiet and very efficient and methodical in cleaning. Downside are that you must buy a spare battery ahead of time because the battery life is limited and if you do not buy one ahead of time you cannot get it in stores... you have to order online and some stores like Target do not carry the battery for this specific model... so then you end up paying a lot of money for parts and shipping. So save yourself the hassle and buy a bunch of extra parts, battery, filters and brushes at least then if something goes wrong you can fix everything and get back up and running on the day.
