How To Fix PC Flashing Screen or Explorer closing by itself By Chitubox - Explorer Thumbnail Corrupt

You installed Chitubox and the problems started right after that?
Probably its your explorer.exe causing this problem.
I had this problem when my M SLA printer arrived and installed Chitubox.
Lychee slicer is a good alternative but whenever you are searching tutorials online most of the time they use Chitubox so I really recommend to try my method.

Had this happen as soon as I installed chitubox. Spent about 8 hours with multiple service techs, took my Laptop to micro center, geek squad, no one could do anything without resetting my pc and losing all my files. THIS WORKED. Thank you very much. This happened to me by saving stl files on the desktop. Chitu was trying to change the icon of the said stl files to Chitu's render of the object. This worked. I was getting a complete Windows Explorer restart every 10 seconds, Rather Annoying.

I couldn’t believe I found this superb video. I got the flashing screen after installing ChituBox. What a nightmare. Followed your instructions as I am unable to do anything except open task manager. After a few time I manage to remove explorer.exe, I then get a white screen, not able to do anything but input the cmd line. Although I do know the version of ChituBox I installed it is unable to locate the file. So I’m stuffed. I had no idea installing software could do this. I may as well have run a virus on my MSI. Any other advice? Are The producers of ChituBox offering support with this?

Finally worked it out after some thought. Located the dll. file using command prompt before running the dll. Took some working out thought as my CHITUBOX V1.9.5 folder had two spaces between CHITUBOX and the version. Thanks to this video I got through it. Cheers 👍
