How to Fix Poor MPG in a Mustang

This car was ranging 16-19MPG which I found to be quite low since she’s a V6, and would idle roughy just after I put it in park. After some reading the purge valve could be the culprit and at such a low cost and easy job I thought I’d swap it out.
This fixed my issue and now she ranges 21-23MPG city while having fun
She’s a 2012 Ford Mustang 3.7

My 2016 says I have way lower numbers than my gauge, when I first bought it on fill up it would be in the 300s

It did for me, i drive moderately getting 22MPG city, 24 Highway

I'm having 8 mpg in my 2014 mustang I think I have a huge problem I don't I will replace this valve and camshaft sensors

My 2014 V6 is giving me 14.4 mpg. It’s kind of upsetting seeing as how I got this one to daily drive it. You think this will fix it?

It's so cheap I'd try it out, next would be a tune up

I have the same issue on my v6 2014 , it’s so annoying .. I’m getting 17 and recently went down to 15avg mpg.. Not sure what to do , I change the same part with no change at all
