Thank you so much. I accidentally download a game to my laptop and then a bunch of stuff started popping up. So I ran my anti virus program and it got rid of the stuff but then my internet stopped working. So I checked the wifi and it was working fine. But then when I opened up Firefox it gave me the Proxy server error.

but all you did is take off your proxy settings, so now you surf on regular IP. what can you do when you WANT a proxy address in the LAN SETTINGS and you get the "unable to connect to proxy" error? disabling the proxy does not fix the problem...

Ive ran the scans on my laptop ive restored it ive done the proxy server nothing works. If anything changes it says webpage unavailable then itll go back to the proxy server

I only get this error with Outlook when I click on the send/receive option. I've access to the internet and it doesn't seem to affect e-mails. However, something is slowing the computer greatly. The error is listed as OX800CCC90. It says -"Incoming POP3 e-mail server has reported and internal error. The server responded:-ERR no such message exists. Time Warner tech support says it has nothing to do with them, So I'm asking you for a bit of guidance and help here

Call me dumb, but I'm not gettin error messages, but I do have problems with my proxy setting. when i check the NO Proxy Box..its fine for a few mins then i have to go right back and check the no proxy box AGAIN & AGAIN & AGAIN...both on Google Chrome & FireFox..I do have CCleaner, Avast Antivirus, I do weekly checks no virus no malware.. I have checked Automatically Detect... and removed proxy address... but still same proxy error... also I'm using paid version of Bitdefender Total Security 2017... so how can it b attack of a virus or spyware?

Many viruses and malware are designed to avoid detection. Contrary to popular belief, Anti-virus programs are not 100% fool proof. Some are Rootkits which are harder to detect, let alone remove. Some Internet Security software will work in Safe mode. Put the OS into safe mode and see if BitDefender can remove the Virus. I also have a video called How to Safely remove Viruses.

I tried this but it still didn't work. I started getting these errors when Firefox on my computer crashed. At first I kept getting this message :Firefox can't find the server for www.youtube.com and it said the same thing for all sites. Then all of a sudden I was able to access KZbin, Google & certain other sites. Facebook and even the Firefox Support site cant open. And I'm getting the same problem on Internet Explorer. I tried everything but its not allowing me to access certain sites. I'm currently doing a virus scan but I honestly don't know what to do. I need help please!!!! And my brother recently downloaded two programs called HandyAndy & Bluestacks Agents..I don't know if that's causing this problem as well.
