I had my ps4 in safe loop for 1 year and half i didn't wanna lose my data but im glad i had it save in my cloud thank u for telling me this ima hope i don't gotta delete everything but thank u alot

WARNING! If all 7 options aren't working in safe mode, DONT toss your ps4 just yet! I fixed mine. The problem was my harddrive wasnt working anymore, so i replaced it and it was fixed along with initiate ps4(reinstall system update) option 7 in safe mode! I hope this helps anyone!

So where can I get the original ps4 cable? I've tried EVERYTHING ELSE, and I mean that, literally. My ps4 doesn't recognize ANY of the usb options and it cannot get into Safe mode screen at all. Thanks for your response,it would be greatly appreciated. I've subbed, waiting for a response 🙂

You can also reinstall system software by downloading the update file from the PlayStation website, saving it on a USB drive in a folder named "UPDATE," plugging it into the PS4, and selecting "Initialize PS4 (Reinstall System Software)" in Safe Mode.

Help please!. My PS4 is in a kind of "loop", where it won't get pass the "Cannot Start the PS4." Black screen. I HAVE: rebuilt the data base, updated using Internet and USB in which it does go through the update process after restarting it goes back to the "Cannot Start PS4. I would like to avoid having to REINSTALLATION FILE, since I do not have the means to copy them and I haven't saved on cloud for a long time.

So I had to initialise mine (that worked) then it did the update (that worked) but then it switched on or “restarted” and the screen is staying black now
