Just buy a new controller. Open it up and swap guts. Then return the new one with the old guts in it. I do this all the time

@@Bruh1 yea actually, hold the options button and the PlayStation at the same time. Hold for about 3 secs then you should see a glowing orange light(this means it’s in pairing mode) then have your Bluetooth settings on and you should see it pop up and make sure it’s charged first

Guys If anyone still has this problem and these methods don't work try connecting your dualshock 4 to your ps5 and go to the controller settings and press the option to connect your dualsense. That's the only method that worked for me.

⁠Mine was having the same issue as well. Controller only ever flashed yellow once and nothing else. I fixed it now though somehow but going into SafeMode, having the controller connected and updated the console via Internet connection & it turned on. Perhaps when the hard drive needs an update via SafeMode, it affects the controllers? I’m not sure but it’s now working for me. Hope this last resort helps someone. 👍🏻 Lmk if you had the same issue or if my controller was the worst in the industry lol

I had this problem for at least a week tried 6 cable usb c and à to c reset of remotes and console using a DualShock remote. I have finally found a solution used a USB TYPE C 3.1 10gbps cable C TO C , with my laptop with windows and Sony dual sense update app , updated both remotes and was able to make it work again nothing else worked !!!

My question is why does it do that, I turned my ps5 into rest mode to charge. A 4 hours later I turned it on and the controller wouldn’t sync to the console. Thankfully its still works and I was able to connect it back to it. Just curious why it wasn’t connecting back to it.
